BRIEF Bio - Reed Richards has always been gifted intellectually, and thats not an understatement by any means. MENSA, perfect scores in any national test, honors, degrees in numerous accredited universities before he turned 18. Reed's intelligence is borderline supernatural. Sure he was a bit goofy, could creep anyone out with his contortionist skills, and had no idea what was popular or not. Regardless his brains, and his ability to create left many speechless.

When Reed graduated yet again with a college doctorate. He began work with NASA to create a cheaper, more effectent form of spacecraft. During this time he met and began dating astronaut Susan Storm, who soon volunteered along with her brother Johnny and veteran pilot Ben Grimm, to handle the first major full test of the craft.
However, a freak occurrence of cosmic radiation from an unexpected meteor strike caused the ship to make an emergency landing out in the hill of rural France. There however the four were mortified to learn the radiation had given them superhuman powers. Reed's body became elastic, Susan could turn invisible and create force fields, Johnny could light himself on fire and fly, and Ben turned into a large hulking rock like person with inhuman strength.

Things quickly fell apart for Reed, Susan dumped him for what had happened, and the others were just as quick to leave Reed behind. NASA no longer wanted anything to do with him because of what happened, and suddenly Reed felt very alone in the world. However, when he was traveling down a New York City street to go file unemployment. He spotted a robbery happen, and after stepping in had an idea.

Using his knowledge of science for good. Reed created a special suit made out of a newly created material he called "unstable molecule". Elastic to almost impossible degrees, fireproof, and bullet proof up to high powered rounds. Reed allowed himself to be publicly known as he not only worked as a superhero from his lab, situated at the top floor of the Baxter Building in Manhattan, but as a figure to help bring better knowledge and a strong voice for science to the media and public. His hope is to be a role model for the next great young scientists out there. He always likes to say, "Science is fantastic!"

Key Differences - No longer the leader of the Fantastic Four as there isn't a Fantastic Four to lead. Has one VERY big difference about him that will be revealed soon.

Notes - On top of the suit, Reed will occasionally bring with him a backpack which contains tools and items he created if the mission calls for it. Plus he can stretch into it and change into an unstable molecule suit if he has to for whatever reason. Plus Reed is a pacifist, has a strong distaste in violence and would much rather talk things through then get physical. Especially when guns get involved, Reed despises guns.
