"Sister... You said that days ago..." Shin groaned, hanging his upper body off the cart's edge. Shin wouldn't even be up if his sister didn't need someone for company, and Xiao was catching some shuteye. So it had to be him. What didn't help matters, however, was that they hadn't had a proper meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) for days! How could she expect him to be decent company when he was hungry and tired?! It's torture...

With a loud yawn, Shin pulled himself together and hopped off the cart. It took a moment to balance, sure, but once he gained his footing he plodded along next to his sister. "Let's hope it's a town this time. I could use a good meal," he chirped with sarcasm. "Wouldn't want to feast on some corpses now. I hear that is bad for you." He knew his sister probably wasn't in the mood for his jokes, but she needed to lighten up a bit.

Shin knew she wouldn't admit it, but he could tell it in her body language that she wasn't alright. At least in terms of mood. She was always one to keep it to herself. That being said, they were all in this together, and she could use some cheering up. "You know, once we find a town, we should asks for directions and how long it takes to get to said location. Might help us when we restock on supplies for the trip, you know?"
