Garry let out a sigh, watching as someone trailed off with his order. He glanced out the window for a brief moment, the horrible image of Karina finding him here crossed his mind. He cringed in horror. Not only would his kid sister laugh, she would also take a seat beside him and talk his ear off. He leaned back in his seat, a brief sigh. Observant as he may be, he noticed that girl -- the one with similiar tastes as him -- approach his table. Thinking quickly and calmly, he threw his arm over his book casually, sliding it across the table and into his lap. He looked up at the girl -- she was younger than him by a few years, but he knew her name like most of the other regulars: Aria. Every once and a while, he'd catch her glancing over at him, maybe with mild curiosity. Most people did that, considering that Garry himself never spoke. He wasn't exactly popular, but he wasn't too much of an outcast either. He found a balanced medium and stayed there. But now, Aria had his attention. Letting her speak, he watched intently, a blank look on his face. He wondered how awkward he looked on the receiving end, ". . you wouldn't have to be all alone over here." Wasn't she sitting alone as well? Well, he didn't particularly "want" to join her, but he had been coming to this cafe for weeks and no breakthrough with his social anxiety. Not that he had expected to do so, but Karina had --- " . . Alright," he said rather quietly, grabbing his bag from the seat beside him and lugging it over his shoulder. He wasted no time shoving the sappy novel in an open pouch within the bag itself and grabbing his mug of hot chocolate, " . . lead the way, Aria." That reminded him. . how did she know his name?
