ALU & OLIVIER “Hmm…” she mumbled unsure, narrowing her eyes at the magic user and not at all planning to ignore him. He was definitely suspicious and Alu was determined to find out more about him. She noticed the vampire try to take their attention away from the man by asking if they wanted to stay for dinner, but before she even thought of an answer, Alu froze at the sight of the meal that was being taken out of the oven. “Is that a duck?!” she yelled, hysterical at the sight. Losing her cool and throwing caution out the window, she instantly tore her gaze from the duck and gave an ugly look to the magic user, instantly suspecting him as the wizard they were searching for. “Wizard! Did you cook his majesty?! ” “You think that roasted duck is royalty? It’s just a normal duck but…Ah…are you…you know, okay?” he asked, concerned for her health, wondering if she had lost her mind. “I will be okay once you answer my questions. How did you do that? Was it magic?” She asked with sudden coldness, pointing to the charmed brooms. “You wanna know how I was cleaning…? Yes, I used magic.” He answered, confused as he stared at the angry looking guests and completely forgetting her strange remark about the duck. But after a few moments, suddenly, his eyes brightened as if a lightbulb went off in his head and he smiled. “Oh…! Ohhhh I see, now I understand why you are curious. Wait just a moment, please.” The janitor snapped his fingers. In the distance, a mop and bucket suddenly stopped their cleaning and began floating towards the group. Olivier grabbed the cleaning items, one in each hand, and gleefully shoved the mop into the woman’s hands and the bucket into the man’s. “Here you go! Welcome to the custodial staff!” “W-w-what is the meaning of this, insolent wizard?!” shouted Alu as she dropped the mop onto the floor like it was on fire, earning a puzzled glance from Olivier. “Eh? Aren’t you new janitors?” he asked the woman, wondering why she looked even madder than before. Olivier would have been honored to be given a mop, cleaning was so fun! These new janitors were so strange. “Of course not. Why would you even think that…?” growled the woman, looking at him as if he was the worst thing she had never laid eyes on. It just made him feel even more confused and slightly uneasy, especially with the other man glaring at him too. “But, why else would you want to know how to clean, if you aren’t a new janitor?” Olivier finally decided to ask, then glancing at Ampellio with bewilderment, wondering why he had bothered to bring these two to the kitchen if they weren’t here to help him. JECHT “Of course I care, I’m just not fucking weak like you, crying over every little thing!” he yelled back vehemently, bad memories instantly flashing in his mind; the time Trixxtal had been kidnapped, one of the few moments he let himself cry in public, and of all the times he cried in secret, alone. It made Jecht feel even angrier. Trixxtal didn’t know a damn thing, he didn’t understand at all! "You can be so inconsiderate sometimes! I fucking hate you." He stiffened at the cruel statement, not moving an inch as the vampire stormed away and locked himself in his room. He felt paralyzed by Trixxtal’s parting words and his anger vanished, as if cut down by a blade, leaving Jecht only feeling pain. “Hate me, huh…?”he mumbled, a bitter expression crossing his face. Frowning, Jecht walked in the opposite direction of Trixxtal’s room and approached the pet carrier he had left Cece in earlier. “Hey, Cece.” greeted Jecht in a subdued voice, unlocking the door and scooping up the puppy into his arms. “Trixxtal and I fought again.” He spoke dejected, looking at the animal as if she would respond back, “I wish you were the real Cece. He used to help me.” A lone tear slid down his face and he quickly wiped it away, in case one of the blond assholes decided to show up. The puppy seemingly oblivious to Jecht’s despair, Jecht felt at a loss about what to do now, as he certainly couldn’t go to Tori’s place with Trixxtal. Jecht didn’t want to face him anytime soon, but he did not exactly feel like being alone. So his only option was…. “Valente.” he growled, glancing around the room and wondering where the wizard scampered off to. He felt so upset that he would rather hang around Valente than Trixxtal, which was really saying something. But he still didn’t want him roaming around the island wherever he pleased, so not knowing where Valente was really bothered him. “Where is that bastard?” he sighed, frustrated, running his fingers through his hair. But then Jecht suddenly froze. He just realized something. His hair. His hair was still the colors of the happy fucking rainbow. "DAMMIT!"
