Even with Viral’s adaptable eyes, staring into a blast like that as the snow and ice illuminated it more proved to be a pain. He couldn’t take the extra pain at this point, feeling overwhelmed by the massive burst of energy he was going through. Snarling in pain and anger, he didn’t even take in what the Narbu had said and certainly wasn’t in the right mind to understand it; however, what he did realise was his opponent was getting away and he wasn’t having any of it. With an angry roar he was immediately chasing after the Narbu, making a great leap after him. He was chasing the Narbu down as if he was prey and that thought pattern was just proving to make things all the more worse. Throwing himself forward towards his opponent, he landed on all fours with a snarl and a hiss, his energy buzzing as he slowly moved to stand up. There was definitely something wrong with him now as he was shaking, his eyes glowing lightly as he fought for self-control. Undergoing his own fight for control, Viral threw his claws around in angry protest before he went back onto all fours. Straining, the energy output simply got worse before his paws took a strange turn of development, his arms lengthening to match the length of his legs before out burst a mass of fur from his forearms down. His forearms and paws had gone back to looking like his feline paws with oddly large muscle mass as if imitating the shape of his forearms in his normal form. Roaring in pain he reared up, his large paws pressing against his head before yelping as his reptilian tail warped into his cat tail with the spikey spines still running down it. Even by definition this was not at all normal for a transformation to do, even if he had gone from one into the other very quickly before. Shu wasn’t able to follow Viral and the Chieftain, but then again he wouldn’t want to as his life could be in danger if he did. Frowning, he peered out from his safety spot again as he looked towards the other Narbu, hoping they’d stay put especially after seeing that energy. He understood that this race was tough and liked to fight like Viral said, but he didn’t want them running off to defend their leader recklessly. Looking off to the distance, he hoped Takeshi would be able to get the others soon before something awful happened to Viral and the Chieftain.
