So at this moment Rika opened the door beyond the white room, so at this moment she either needs a reason to stop opening the door or to close it before seen what lays ahead, to know what lays ahead, or for Tsuki to do something or say something to her.

I think its called a reaction lock, when an action awaits for a reaction.
