#9 The night was long for Scarlett. She kept waking up every few minutes, whenever her sister's face would appear in her dreams, or whenever the memory of shooting those men would replay. She only fell asleep once she couldn't keep her eyes open no matter how hard she tried. Scarlett's eyes opened quickly as she heard the sound of a door open, immediately sitting up and regretting it. Everything around her spun around and she groaned, rubbing her temples. She blamed it on the lack of sleep but she decided not to let it get in the way of whatever they would do that day, and got out of the truck, looking around to see who had already gotten up.
