Selene took a stroll through town, her eyes wandering from sign to sign as she simply looked. She searched first for a market of some kind; while digistructed food, at best, tasted like a Skag threw up rotting Thresher, it was easily portable, and with her nomadic life, she didn't have much in the way of refrigeration. Her tools and talents took her everywhere, doing odd jobs here and there, occasionally engaging in a favorite past-time of her psychotic mother: killing. It paid, either way, with gear, cash, or some item that they didn't want or need. Her first stop displayed itself with a cheerfully-colored sign, and she permitted herself a small nod toward it. She browsed among everything, refilling her stockpiles of food and paid for the entire thing up front, much to the surprise of the clerk. Selene made her way out and searched for another place, to stock her back up on ammunition and check to see if there was anything better than what she had now to purchase and replace her gear. A few individuals glance at her with a variety of looks, and she idly wonders if she forgot to clean the blood off of her fingers and arms again. Not to her surprise, there wasn’t anything to replace her gear, only some low-grade gear. Ammunition transferred to her as she paid for bullets, and left the vender, wandering back around the city. Her ECHO told her that her pet Stalker was avoiding the ground, crawling up the walls and roaming up on the roof-tops, prowling around near her, or as close as it could. Something like that would be questionable at best if it was seen on the ground, roaming around, plus she didn't want people stepping on or into it, nor did she want her Stalker doing the same to other people. She wanders around for some time more, and sees something out of the corner of her eyes. She turns her attention over, and sees an unusual sight: Marcus. What is he doing out here? Thinking idly, she redirects herself to the gun-dealer’s direction, taking a moment to absorb his features, and the features of those who were around him. Her HUD flickers without warning, with someone appearing on it alongside static as the ECHO device attempts to correct itself. She looks at the figure, raising an eyebrow in surprise, waiting for her device to stabilize itself once more, and bluntly asks “Who the hell are you?"
