What a fine mess this had turned into. They couldn't get through one single mission without someone being borderline crippled, could they? No use in worrying over Viral right this moment, Yumi and Vegeta were more than capable of seeing to him. There was the matter of Shu bumbling about to look into, Takeshi wasn't quite sure what his brother was doing. Flying over to the younger boy he set down carefully before him, promptly teasing him about hoping about. Perhaps that was just his way of keeping warm, it was hard to tell sometimes with the little guy. "Viral? Uh... He's going to be fine. I mean, Vegeta and Yumi are here now, how can he not be, you know? They'll take care of him." If those two couldn't do it then their friend was beyond helping, there was no better pair for the Beastman to be cared by. Glancing down at his raw hands, Takeshi smiled sheepishly at his brother, shrugging his shoulders indifferently. "Oh, these? I blocked one of Viral's attacks, that's all. Don't worry about it, they don't hurt that much." He wouldn't be holding things for a bit, not without his palms stinging like mad. Just a bit of bandages and something to soothe the stinging and he'd be fine, he certainly didn't need that much medical attention. Giving Shu a funny look the older boy rolled his eyes, smirking as he turned around to check, "Yeah, I stuffed the cleaver in my pocket buddy, good eye. No I don't have them, we probably dropped 'em somewhere." Now where in the heck did they leave those things? Viral would be right pissed if they lost either, and Takeshi had very little desire to be chewed out later on. Searching about the nearby area he finally spotted the cleaver at least, seeing the handle protruding up from a small pile of snow. "They're going inside somewhere, get out of the cold," he pointed out, heading over to the weapon. Right, so he had to pick this up somehow, preferably without his hands. Like that would work, he didn't have a tail and goodness knows he wasn't going to try using his feet. Sighing he went ahead and grabbed hold of the metal, the cold handle actually feeling soothing on his skin. At least it had until he applied his grip, wincing and forcing himself to pick it up, slinging it over his shoulder. "Ow ow ow, dammit! Stupid burns!" Takeshi whined, blowing on his free palm. Viral's scarf was still missing, where could that be? Another quick survey and he spotted it, clung onto a post of one of the huts and blowing in the wind. "Shu, go grab it and let's go. I don't want to stay outside much longer." Viral had seen worse days, Vegeta noted, trying to reassure himself. Seeing his friend so mutated however made him worry immensely, it was unusual, even for him. The fact that he exhibited not one, but three different forms, including his regular self, it didn't make any sense. The lack of energy should have meant he would revert completely, not partially. And the fact he'd even scrambled up before now, what was the deal with that? Feeling a set of eyes on him the Saiyan turned his head, coming face to face with Viral. Smiling faintly he looked back ahead, watching the Narbu before them. "That device drains and stores your power, if you're wondering. If you lack the energy to maintain a form then you'll revert, at least, that's what should happen. Evidently something has changed, because you're certainly not yourself." What could cause something like this to happen anyways? It wasn't the energy mutating him, he didn't have enough to sustain even a single form right now. If not his energy then... Perhaps it was something more biological. Taking a mental picture in his mind of the genetic mapping Vegeta frowned, unable to think of anything that was a blaring fault. "Viral... Can you speak? Tell me, how do you feel?" "Oh let him be Vegeta, he's exhausted, can't you tell? Interrogate him later," Yumi said testily, glancing over at her friend. She knew the need to figure this out, but with Viral essentially drained it could wait. First things first, they had to get him inside somewhere and take care of him. Until they actually got back to the ship itself she doubted they could do very much for him, the Narbu didn't look as though they had much equipment here. Looking at Viral she smiled kindly, "You just rest up, okay? We've got it from here, you've done your part." Just up ahead the Narbu had finally come to their destination, the Chieftain and two of his men going inside first. The other two stood at either side of the doors, watching the encroaching group closely. So they didn't completely trust her or her friends yet, not too surprising she supposed. Hopefully that didn't get in the way of their negotiations, Yumi didn't want this to be as big a failure as Shaharia had. Everyone had seemed fair dejected after that first stop, having the same thing happen again would be a real letdown. Vegeta wanted to get back to their own ship, at least just to return Viral there and get him situated. He could even go alone, then return once negotiations were done. Yumi was set on letting Viral rest here though, and per usual he was just going to give her what she wanted rather than try arguing. Easier that way, she could go on for quite some time if she felt passionately enough about something. "Alright, sorry, just trying to help," Vegeta said, smiling exasperatedly. Looked like they had at last gotten to this house, and just as well, he was freezing. Watching the Chieftain and two Narbu go in first he followed suit, helping Yumi bring Viral on inside. It wasn't half bad of a building admittedly, better than he anticipated. Some sort of mats were rolled up on the ground, almost like tatami mats. They felt like they insulated the floor a little, which was nice. And for just hide walls they did quite a good job of stopping the cold too. Inside was a small fireplace, a table, several bedrolls along the walls as well as a few weapons racks. It was more civilized than he'd have anticipated. Scarcely needing to be told both he and Yumi went to the nearest bedding, carefully laying Viral down back onto it. Since Yumi promptly sat down at Viral's side, Vegeta figured he could move on for the time being.
