Having climbed the hill at a steady pace, Archer was easily overtaken by the eager blonde. The men in the red coats faced off on the hillside as Vash issued his challenge. The first question was answered without even saying a word--from the words of the feline behind to the gleaming white spear in his hand, it was clear what Archer intended to do--kill the beast atop the mount to fulfil the terms of their first challenge. The second question needed more attention than the first, but was only briefly analysed before being dismissed as Archer continued his ascent to the peak, "He was an unstable demon who was doing more to kill us than the lizard. If I left him, he would have killed more of us in the future."
