Vash kept his arms crossed as he looked down at the ground, letting Archer’s answer sink into his mind as the assassin started to walk away. A moment later, he spoke up again. “That didn’t answer my question.” he told Archer, head turned towards him as he watched him walk away. “I know what it’s like, trying to save everyone and not being able to succeed. I know it’s not an easy thing to do.” he continued, starting to follow Archer along the trail. “But,” he caught up to Archer quickly. “That doesn’t give me any right to kill people.” “I’m sure both our worlds are far from perfect, and it won’t always be possible to save everyone…” he trailed off solemnly. “But I don’t see how that could possibly justify [i]murder[/i].” he glared at Archer. “So I’ll ask you again: what gives you the right?”
