Huh… Oren wasn’t too sure what to make of the Headmistress’ welcome. While he could appreciate the speech being kept brief, its contents were a bit lacking and generic if he was to be honest. As some other students began to disperse, Oren walked out of the main hall at the head of the crowd. Where he slept for the night wasn’t too much of a concern for him, so he didn’t bother trying to claim a spot. If worse came to worse he didn’t even see sleeping outside to be an issue; the weather seemed quite mild as it was. What mattered more to him at the moment was seeing if appropriate arrangements had been made, or figuring out what to do if they hadn’t. The locker room wasn’t completely empty as expected, Oren could hear voices bouncing off the walls. Ignoring them, he scanned the locker-lined walls for the, hopefully two, that would be his. It wasn’t too hard to figure which ones were his though; two stickers of the Atlesian symbol on two conjoined lockers was pretty obvious. Punching in the two separate combinations, he was rewarded with two doors swinging open to greet him with plenty of storage space. With a dull thud he set the mini-locker he had brought with him down next to the bench before he got to work on freeing himself from the hardsuit. The process didn’t take too long and he’d managed to cut it down to only a few minutes with the many times he had practiced. Still, he didn’t see himself using the gift too often during his time at Beacon. If he wanted to better himself, the suit’s amplifications of his abilities would only serve as a crutch. Laying the folded bodysuit atop the armor pieces, he took a second to look at the disassembled powered armor before letting the locker door swing shut. The mini-locker fit snugly inside the other locker, and he took a few moments to unpack it. Two travel bags sat at the bottom while his weapons were secured on the walls. Fishing out some appropriate cloths, namely a white collared shirt, a pair of grey slacks, and a black long coat, Oren got dressed before he left the building to the sound of locks clicking shut. He took a moment to just stop and breathe when he stepped outside; the day was quite a pleasant one. It was something to read that the weather was nice on a display in the corner of one’s eye, and another thing to actually feel it. With that done, Oren blinked and wondered what to do now. He could find something to do on the Academy grounds; be that familiarizing himself with the layout or lazing about, or he could hit up the town of Vale. Given how he would be spending most of his time on school grounds for the next little while, he figured any sort of familiarization he bothered with today could, and would, be done so in the coming days. Exploring the nearby city would take a good deal longer, so why not get a head start on it?
