Undaro (Oon-Dahr-Oh), The Uisilon's underground city It took years of subtle deception and the subsequent destruction of damning evidence before any and all Information on the subspecies of humans was eradicated. Now, after eighty two years, the long forgotten Uisilon(You-Sil-On) have returned to the surface and to average human life. You don't notice them; they pass by you on a sunny day, sunglasses just like yours perched on their nose. But, if you look closely, peek through the side of the lenses; you'll see eyes that glow so intensely that you'd be left standing there, baffled at the inhuman appearance. But they are human, they’re the next level in the evolutionary chain, and you've never heard of them, never been told stories or shown pictures. The Uisilon race was buried and unknown for years, the world leaders not wanting to acknowledge an advanced race that could overthrow them. One by one, then later in groups, the Uisilon were run out of house and home, forced into exile and hiding underground to preserve their life. The only people to remember them would be dead or dying now. So what do you do when sudden unexplainable events crop up on your TV screen at breakfast? Explosions with no bomb or gas main bursting, sturdy buildings crumbling to dust, or floods with an unexplainable source? You do nothing; That's right, you go about everyday life and maybe look over your shoulder a few extra times. Because it’s not like a person could cause this, so it must be some natural disasters; maybe there was a gas main and the inspectors missed it. Rest assured, the world leaders have this under control. But if it’s natural…What exactly are they trying to control? ----------------------------- Okay, so basically what happened was: There’s an evolved version of Humans(Mundanes) called the Uisilons((You-Sil-On) Literally ‘Advanced’) and they were run out of their normal lives 80+ years ago by the fearful Mundane world leaders, and lived in underground networks they created ever since. After years of sneaking up to the surface to destroy the evidence that their race existed, they thought it safe to come back to the normal societies. One year ago, they sent a political group to the (undisclosed to public)world leader assembly to plead their case, and the group was murdered in cold blood. Now the Uisilons have snuck to the surface, bent on revenge for the loss of their harmless friends. They're going to fight for their right to be on the surface, and go for the heads of the world leaders that ordered their friends execution. And if a few Mundanes get caught in the middle…Well, there are so many of them that they can afford a few losses. EDIT: You are born with power and have always known about it, that's how the five Golden Uisilons are easy to find when the new generation comes along. ---------------------- Strength Levels/Rank: Golden Uisilons-Golden/Yellow Eyes: The highest level of strength within the Uisilons; Augmented abilities just like all of their kind. He's sooner to make a scathing remark than a nice one. He no longer holds a shimmer of hope in his eyes as he used to. He's extremely protective of those he's claimed as part of his family(The other Golden Uisilons, as well as whoever joined his group for revenge on the Mundanes) and will become quite...unsettling if they are threatened. History: Asa grew up learning of the surface and Mundanes from an excitable, Silver rank mother, whose grin was contagious to the point where he almost always wore one of his own. He was nine when she died, one the the support pillars having crumbled and the ground collapsing in on her. After that, Asa and Hostia, his older sister, moved in with Asa's friend, Carter Preece. Asa and Hostia lived there with little problem-Asa and Carter even having shared their first kiss and been dating ever since- until last year, when Hostia, 21, join the diplomatic mission to the Surface. When all that came back was news of murder from a scout, Asa nearly shut off completely, the only thing keeping him going being Carter, who continued to pull him out of the dark for seven months. Five months ago, Asa pulled together a group of like minded thinkers, those wanting revenge, to go after the world leaders that ordered his sister's execution, along with ten others Uisilons. Some opposed him, saying they needed a peaceful approach, and he welcomed them to try, but said he'd continue his way. After five months of planning, they've gone to the surface and gotten several apartments-broken, rundown, but livable-changing the location each day. His new family will be retaliating against the world that had been so cruel to them. And now, he had a feeling something was going to change. She keeps her hair cropped close, occasionally coloring it different shades of purples, greens, and oranges. Her cropped hair accentuates her circular face and circular features, including her enlarged lips and big round eyes. However, Ruba's face is the only thing "soft" about her appearance, as the rest of her body is made up of sharp angles and long lines. Ruba is hardly ever seen without makeup, which includes loud lipsticks in odd colors, like neon orange and lavender, and dark colored eyeshadow. She usually leans towards bright or pastel clothing, indulging in all types of dress. However, Ruba can usually be seen in what the Mundanes would call "hippie" attire. Personality Despite her young age, Ruba has a wise presence about her, at least until you speak to her. Though her size makes her seem intimidating, she is actually fairly eccentric. She is the most confident member of the Pavo clan, and is extremely proud to be a Uisilon, and has her own special pride in her rank. Armed with well-worn jokes and a kind spirit, Ruba is a rather easy person to open up to. Because of her upbringing in a fairly open household, Ruba is a very nonjudgmental person. She believes everyone has something to teach her, even if she may not like their lesson. However, there is no one Ruba listens to more than Mother Earth. Ruba’s powers have led her to believe she has a special connection with Mother Earth, she even claims to have spoken to the deity before. She almost always consults her “Earthly” friends before making any decisions. When it comes to risky decisions, however, Ruba always thinks of the consequences for her siblings. She knows that her younger brothers lack the sense she has, and as a result is always trying to look out for them. In fact, she doesn’t really wish to disturb anyone, and often remains neutral during hard times in order to keep everyone happy. Even though she has a fairly peaceful nature, Ruba wishes she could just take charge and make risks without worrying about everyone else. She desperately wants to live for herself, however years of people constantly depending on her have made her hesitant. History Ruba was born into a rather busy family, and from the time she could talk she was relied on like an adult. Her parents worked with a group of others to destroy traces of the Uisilons from Mundane society, and as a result Ruba was often surrounded by the children of these people. The Pavo household always had at least ten people moving in and out, having tea or discussing plans behind closed doors. Ruba was always expected to govern over the children. With her eccentric personality and her affection for nature, Ruba was often a hit with the younger children and an annoyance for the adults. It was through her parent’s work that she gained her two beloved little brothers. While her parents were away, Ruba would often be in charge of Pons and Lahn, along with a few other children who happened to be dropped off that day. It was tiring, and Ruba often retreated into herself just to relax. It was during this time that Ruba found her supposed connection with Mother Earth. She felt herself feeling more compelled to a force of nature than to her own parents, who she rarely saw. Ruba didn’t know much about the Mundanes or her parent’s work, however she disapproved “destroying” of any kind. For years, Ruba would resent the fact that her parents were destroying something, and for years her parents would keep it a secret what they were destroying. It wasn’t until much later, when her youngest brother began obsessing over the Mundanes, that she truly understood who they were, and she wouldn’t understand their true power until an innocent political group was slain. Rank Golden Power Earth manipulation Stance on whether or not to retaliate against the Mundanes(Reason Why) Ruba feels a deep pain for those who have been killed by the Mundanes, and fears that soon there will be nothing stopping them from attacking her loved ones. However, she doesn’t wish to fight a war that might injure innocent lives or destroy a culture. As much as she would like to act, Ruba is waiting on Mother Earth to tell her what she should do.
Joon Pavo-Silver-Empathy
Name Joon Pavo (Writes his name as Pavo Joon) Age 21 Appearance With his squared off face constantly off center with a goofy expression, Joon is anything but threatening. He stands at an imposing but not to gargantuan height of 5'10", however his body is constantly slouched as if he's always ready to relax. Joon is muscular, although not as much as he wishes to be, with generally slim features and cheekbones that could, at the least, cut glass. His short black hair, cut in a rather unusual fashion with a blunt bangs and shaved sides, is usually prim and tidy despite his loose nature. Much like Ruba, Joon dyes his hair from Lavender to Neon pink and anywhere in between. He has, on occasion, worn sparkly blushes and metallic eye shadows up to his brows, in honor of his big sister. Joon dresses almost childishly, often wearing colorful print shirts, jean shorts, neon colored flannel skirts, and bright oxfords. Personality Joon has always been a bit of a social butterfly, he enjoys companionship and friendliness in general. He’s extremely talkative, and often opens up to people the second he meets them. Joon is a fairly dramatic person, often peppering his words with hand flourishes and melodramatic facial expressions. Most of the time he seems larger than life, he’s almost sickeningly kind. His friendly demeanor has led him to trust people he shouldn’t, as he has a hard time seeing when someone is truly mean, or if they’re a cry for help. Most people have a little goodness in them, and Joon always tries his best to find it. However, that being said, the person he’s the hardest on is himself. Every failed joke, lost friend, or uncomfortable person around him just earns yet another scolding towards himself. Joon isn’t the smartest person in the world; he’s never been anywhere close to it, however he has prided himself on his ability to connect with people since he was little. For Joon, his social nature is a replacement for intelligence, and anytime he fails to make a new friend or keep an old one it all just adds up to another thing that he’s bad at. History Joon has lived with the Pavo family for as long as he can remember, only being told that his parents had been in an accident. To young, or perhaps to simpleminded, to care, Joon fell in with the Pavo clan quite easily. Truthfully, it seemed like Joon was set to get everything quite easily. People were attracted to Joon, admiring his friendly demeanor even when he was a child. It came naturally to him, why wouldn’t he try to become friends with everyone? He was effortlessly liked, and even more effortlessly fit in with most. Seeing how far Joon’s personality could get him, his adoptive parents never thought to educate him as much as they did his siblings. Joon being to young or, once again, to simpleminded to understand the situation, didn’t argue. His parents’ work, destroying Uisilon things in the Mundane world, never seemed to puzzle him, as he never thought to question what they did. However, the more he gleaned about their jobs, the angrier he got. Why did his people have to erase themselves to please the Mundanes? He wasn’t the smartest man in the world, but even he knew this seemed all wrong. He never truly understood why the Uisilons had to live in fear of such weak people. The murder of the political group only fueled his anger towards the Mundanes. He didn’t hate them, at least individually, as a group however they were the bane of his existence, however the whole situation confused him. He never quite comprehended what made him so different from them. Rank Silver Uisilon Power Empathy Stance on whether or not to retaliate against the Mundanes(Reason Why) Joon doesn’t want to hide anymore, and is still very upset over those the Mundanes have murdered. With large heart shaped lips, sleepy eyes, and dozens of small freckles splayed on his face, Pons seems almost cherub-like, however there is something off about his appearance. Upon further examination his eyes are always drooped, as if he doesn't care about anything, and his face is oval shaped and somewhat long, extending his features. Even his eyes, which are the same bright green as any other green rank, seem a little dull and lifeless. The only part of Pons' appearance that has personality is his hair, deep brown and curly, it reaches down to his mid back. In fact, Pons takes a lot of pride in his hair, always being sure to part the middle just right and fluff it up enough to seem just manic enough. As for fashion, Pons didn't quite inherit the effortless "coolness" his siblings have when it comes to clothes. He gets all his clothes from his siblings and as a result is always dressed in rather oddly, though not in a "cool" or even "edgy" way. Puffy button up shirts under t-shirts with garish muddy prints, worn out green sneakers paired with knee high yellow socks, his sister's floral skirts over ripped dress pants, nothing is to crazy for Pons to wear. Personality Pons is a bit of a hypocrite, he's always seen silently judging from the sidelines. He doesn't talk very much; He prefers to let his siblings do all the talking. This is not to say that he is extremely tough or anything, he's just a coward with a high opinion of himself. Pons holds disdain for most Uisilons, excluding himself and his two siblings. He's a bit delusional, and whenever he does open his mouth it's usually to take about how he's getting ready to leave for the mortal world and live up to his potential. He constantly lies and throws silent tantrums, as years of being treated like a small child have taught him to do. That is not to say that Pons is simply a nasty individual. His delusions of grandeur aren’t necessarily just because of a large ego. Pons wishes he could blend in with the Mundanes, as he has always felt left out from the Uisilons. His low rank and ordinary powers mark him as an outsider when he stands beside his strong siblings. He works under the logic that if he believes the Mundanes are better than the Uisilons, then he is, by extension, better than those of a higher rank. He is somewhat kind to those in the same rank as him, as he feels that they probably feel the same way he does. Pons also has a soft spot for children, as they are far more accepting. History Pons can hardly remember his real parents, as they left his life rather early. He was one of the many children who often stayed at the Pavo household while their parents went off to work destroying evidence of Uisilons in Mundane life, however unlike most children his parents never exactly came back for him. There wasn’t a death or some other dramatic event that separated him from his parents, it was unexplained necessity. It wasn’t like he particularly minded; at this point he was comfortable with the Pavos and thought of Ruba and Lahn as true siblings. However, as much as he claims that he doesn’t care about his abandonment, he always counts it as the first time he truly felt like he didn’t belong, and it wouldn’t be the last. As he grew, Pons began to notice how mundane he was, at least when compared to his loving older siblings. Even when compared to other green ranks, he felt inferior. He was always slower, always weaker, always behind everyone else. Of course, these feelings were attributed to a simple case of preteen angst, and for a while Pons tried not to think about them. He trained hard, at least for a while, and made sure to keep to himself lest he begin to feel mediocre again. All the while his siblings and adoptive parents nursed his growing insecurities, treating him like a child to avoid making him feel unimportant. All this changed, however, when Pons began studying Mundane culture. For the first time, Pons felt like he had found a group he could relate with. He dreamed of meeting these positively ordinary people, and his disdain for the Uisilons grew. The Uisilons were so chiefly different than the Mundanes, or at least what Pons dreamed the Mundanes were. Rank Green Power The regular augmented abilities. Everything she has heard about the Mundanes actions has left a distaste in her mouth, but she likes to follow Ruba's lead and try to wait for a bit of a sign or something to tell her how to react, and until then, stay calm. History:Sai grew up without knowing her parents; She was taken in by her neighbor after both her parents disappeared on the surface when she was 2. Her neighbor was part of the Elder Council and therefor not always home, and sometimes had to drop her off with the Pavo family one house down. Saiwala loved it there and the hustle and bustle of the house was a wonderful change from the usually quiet and empty feeling of the one she shared with Elder Shanta (shahn-tah). However, when she was alone was when she discovered her ability. She was thinking of Ruba, whom at the tender age of 10, she looked up to. Saiwala was sick and so Elder Shanta decided it best she stay home. In her boredom and slight feverish delirium-alas the Usilons can not cure every illness- she thought of Ruba coming to take care of her. Imagine her surprise when Ruba appeared in the doorway of her small bedroom. She got off her bed and stumbled to give the Pavo woman a hug, only to stumble through the illusion that had manifested before the confused child. As she passed through the illusion, her sickness seemed to fade and when Elder Shanta returned to the house Saiwala recanted her experience. The sickness was the cause of her latent power buildup. Most Usilons gain their powers at birth, and many in her community could not understand how her eyes glowed silver yet she showed no sign of powers. Many seemed relived when they were told the next day at a community meeting that Saiwala was healthy and finally a had access to her powers. When she was 14, Elder Shanta passed out of everyone's lives, leaving the young illusionist alone once more. After the funeral, Saiwala trudged one house down and entered the Pavo house on a more permanent basis. A year later she was taking a walk and walked passed Asa, the only other Golden Uisilon she knew besides Ruba. The boy-one year older than her- seemed to have less control over his powers because she could hear her hair sizzle a bit from the heat rolling from him. He wouldn't tell her what happened but she found out a couple of ours later at the Emergency Meeting. The Political Party had been slaughtered. She couldn't say she was surprised when 7 months later, Asa pulled together a group to go in 5 months to the surface-and by that time she would be 16- and enact justice for their lost loved ones. Always curios about the Surface, and knowing that as a Golden Uisilon Ruba would be expected to go, Saiwala stepped up and gained her place in the group. He has a taste for revenge, but is the type who will most likely lurk in the shadows than to head straight into a fight. Carter has held an insecure complex of keeping quiet about political affairs, and even though he's taking action now he still feels angry at himself at times. History: Carter lived a comfortable life, or so he used to think when he was young. His family protected him from speaking or learning about the Mundanes, and he only learned about them through his childhood friend Asa. As he started growing older, the lives of Uisilons changed when the Mundanes killed the political group, and there was no escape from everyone chatting about it. Carter didn't know what to think, up until the tragedy of Asa and his sister Hostia's mother dying, and then his sisters excution not so long after. It was then when Carter started realizing he had to think for himself and start caring about the political affairs of their people. She is a complex being that lets her instincts and emotions guide her actions. For the most part she tends to be a free spirit, very playful and caring. Many come to her when they are troubled because of how understanding, knowledgeable and motherly she is. She is especially interested in children and teaching them to find their inner mantra. Teens love her stick to the man philosophy. Although she has a "go with the flow" attitude, she can also be unpredictable. Her gentleness can easily be transformed to rage if angered. Aria does whatever she pleases and takes lip from no one. She refuses to have any kind of authority or control placed over her. History: Aria never knew who her father was. Her mother refused to tell a soul and no body knew why. From what she can remember, her mother was the most beautiful and sweetest woman that ever lived. Always there for her, until one day, she disappeared. "Vanished into thin air", that was all anyone could say of her. Devastated little Aria grew up alone for 5 years. On a particularly bad day,she met two other parent-less children, stumbling along aimlessly in their underground world. The boy, Alma, was her age. The girl, Eko, was 4. These three came to know and love each other quickly and so decided to live together as their own little family in Aria's house. Aria gave Echo the title of little sister and with Alma, raised her as if they were her parents. She formed a deep bond with the two and although they never said it aloud Aria and Alma became lovers. Aria was the leader among them and they adored her reckless abandon. For 10 years there was endless joy among them, a completeness that seemingly couldn't be broken. That changed when Alma died on the political mission. It was a dream little Echo had, to be able to live under the sun. Alma was eager to go and full fill that dream. His death damaged Aria's heart greatly and a dark flower began to bloom from her injury. The darkest sides of her emotions had finally awakened and she became a master of air. Rank: Golden Power: Air Stance on whether or not to retaliate against the Mundanes (Reason Why): Aria's anger towards those who have killed her people is noxious. She personally wants revenge on the one who killed Alma, there will be no mercy. She has vowed to change their wretched situation even if most of the outside world must be destroyed for it to happen. Her sister deserves to bathe in the light like they do. Even if no one backs her up, she will set things right all by herself. Her target is all authority, if possible, perhaps she can reach out to the people first. Mainly the youth, they have always listened to her.
Dal Oniym-Green Rank
Name: Dal Oniym (Dahl Oh-Nee-Ihm) Age: 24 Appearance: Eyes: Personality: Dal is calm in the face of danger and in high-pressure situations. He would prefer to stay back and read the few brail books that the Uisilons have created, and the few his parents brought from the Surface. He’s a comforting presence but is very much seen as a loner due to him always being in a corner with a book or ball. History: Born with the blindness that affects 1/10th of the Uisilon population, Dal often stayed in his house. His parents were part of the Information Destruction team that went to the surface, so many a times he was left in the house to his own devices. While enjoying the solitutde, Dal later admitted at the age of 15 to feeling rather annoyed that he couldn’t read, knowing that a world of possibilities lie in script. A few days later, his parents came back from another surface mission with a book containing something called ‘Brail’, along with an informative book for them so they could help teach him. He was reading fluently at 18. It wasn’t long after he learned to read brail that his house was visited by the Elder Council. His parents had been telling all who would listen about how their son was fluid in words not seen, and the council took notice. They gave to him the books that had been in possession of the Council since the Uisilons were forced underground. None of them could read it, and didn’t even know brail was a form of writing until his parents had brought down the Surface books. They inducted him as the Keeper of Hidden Words, the only one who could translate the history of their race, written from the blind ones that came before him. With the new information open to him, Dal learned much of the Mundanes from before being run down into their community. He became interested in the similarities, especially between Him and his fellow Green Ranks and Mundanes. He began conducting research -using the brail typewriter his parents had stolen for him- on the Mundanes. He asked for firsthand accounts of encounters by those who had been to the surface, as well as offering to go as part of the Diplomatic Party. It was decided however that he would stay in Undaro, and get the results of the Surface meeting later when the Group returned. He was reading in his Study in the Council’s house when news of the political group being lost was announced. At the Emergency meeting, he heard the angered Fire Uisilon, and his conviction in his beliefs. He didn’t necessarily agree on all Asa’s points, but he did lower his head at the tragedy, offering his condolences and help once the meeting was over. Despite the offer, he was surprised when the Pyrokenetic showed up on his doorstep in the Council house, 7 months later, asking for his research and guidance, as Asa was creating a group for a mission to the surface. Beside himself with curiosity, Dal agreed to help on the terms that he too could travel to the surface. Five months later and he was breathing in the polluted air of the surface for the first time. Rank: Green Power: Double augmented abilities. Stance on whether or not to retaliate against the Mundanes(Reason Why): “While I agree that the loss of our kin is a tragedy that should not be looked over, I think it best to do things subtly, as we always have. Find information and discredit those who have wronged us. Let no more bloodshed be involved.” –Dal to Asa, when he was at his doorstep 5 months ago.
Anon Zinoviev-Gold-Electrokinesis
Name: Anon Zinoviev Age: 18 Appearance: Personality: Anon is a very self serving, independent individual who can perfectly take care of herself. She is not the girl who stands behind others, nor is she the one to wait for others to act before doing so herself. She is canny, practical, and courageous – determined to easily maneuver through crowds to reach towards her goal. Other than her seemingly positive traits, Anon is cold, serious, and an extremely vengeful Uisilon. Others will be subjected to her stone exterior as well, for she is not selective of those who must deal with her personality - Uisilon or Mundane. Her strong but silent nature makes it hard for others to feel anything similar to sympathy, not to mention it’s very difficult to make friends. The only person she truly trusts is the one who saved her - Lucas. He sees her for who she really is, her true self shows when around him. It is quite easy to get her mad, her bright red hair almost reflects her hot-tempered personality. Sparks fly off as her eyes burn an electric indigo at her enemies. It is not wise to muck around with her, she could easily shock you into the next world. History: In the past, it was known that her family carried the Golden Uisilon trait. Many of her family members were in the forces which attempted to destroy the evidence of their lives. However, during one of their missions, some of the Uisilons got caught. Anon’s family made up a large part of that group, and they were killed mercilessly by the Mundanes. Her grandmother was one of the 5 Golden Uisilons that existed during that time, and was also part of the group that got caught. She gave up her golden title and sacrificed herself for the sake of their family - and so in a burst of lightning the woman eradicated the opposing forces, along with herself. Anon was told of this power from the day she could speak, how the golden title was passed down through her family, skipping a generation each time. Anon was an single child, and it was a rather lonely life. Not many friends, most of the children made fun of her appearance – her bright red-orange hair was the main target of ridicule. Her mother and father had not joined the others in their family to destroy the traces of their race in order to live a more peaceful life on the surface. They took care of her as much as they could, but eventually went to join the others, for the sake of living properly. Anon was only 11 when an officer came to tell her of the news, that her parents suffered a similar fate as her past relatives did. Her great capability was revealed as she matured, for she stumbled upon it while punishing children who made fun of her in the streets of the underground city. She was angry at those who killed her parents, at the children who ridiculed her, and she was scared. Anon had suffered a great deal from that fight, the other kids had gotten her pretty good before they got a piece of her. That was when she met Lucas, the young boy whom saved her life. Years after she was told of a group whose purpose was to go up to the surface and destroy the devilish Mundanes who desolated their great race. There was no hesitation, Anon immediately joined in. Her rank was well known to most in the city, and she would do anything to avenge her family. Rank: Gold Uisilon Power: Electrokenisis Stance on whether or not to retaliate against the Mundanes(Reason Why): “I am not against any sort of retaliation, in fact, I am a great supporter. It’s disgusting, what the Mundanes have done to us. They will pay for what they did to my family.”
Lucas Cuda-Silver-Umbrakenesis
Name: Lucas Cuda Age: 16 Appearance: Personality: Lucas couldn’t be more different from Anon, and their personalities perfectly balance each other out. Though he is not as brave or cunning, Lucas understands the world and it’s mysteries much more than anyone else. His parents were very spiritual, teaching his siblings and him the great wonders of their world and their race. Honest and charismatic, Lucas easily talks his way through any sort of conflict – for it is his preferred way of solving disputes. He is polite and selfless, never wanting to intrude on anyone’s current conversation. He is also very easy to get along with, and is always glad to make new acquaintances – much more cheerful than his friend. However positive his traits appear to be, Lucas tends to think lowly of himself, not realizing his true potential as the 2nd highest Uisilon known. Lucas’s powers easily change his identity to mirror his partner’s serious demeanor – especially during dire times. His family line is known to possess the power to manipulate the shadows, it brings a sort of mystery and intensity to his overall self. History: Lucas lived in the underground city with his two sisters. His parents were local doctors, and sometimes tagged along during surface missions to destroy the evidence of their race. He learned a lot of things from his family, for they largely influenced his personality as he matured. They taught him and his sisters basic medical tactics, so that when and if neither of them were around they could take care of themselves. At a young age Lucas discovered his love for helping others. He was always the one to break up fights, always helping whoever needed it – whoever he thought deserved it. His parents taught him about the Uisilons, teaching them how they were banished from the surface because they were different and seen as a threat. They spoke of spiritual beings, magical items, all sorts of things to spark their imagination. They believed in divine entities, and such thoughts helped preserve the powers which Lucas contained. He has a rather different power than most Silver Uisilons. The capability to manipulate the darkness, his parents didn’t expect him to have such a somber skill. They were proud, however, that he obtained such a rare form of ability. Lucas had trouble controlling his powers at first, they were rather chaotic. His mother helped him train his powers so he could control them, and what a great teacher she made. Lucas was able to use his powers to help others, and though strange, it worked rather well. Unfortunately, years later, his mother died a sudden death. She was called to the surface to help some Uisilons who were hurt from a abrupt attack. No one survived, no one came back home after that. The walls twisted and seemed to change, shadows moved across the floor as the young Lucas cried. He was truly devastated, and a hatred towards the Mundanes boiled inside him. It was then when he found his counterpart, Anon. She was lying behind a wall, bruised and bloody. At first, the boy was too solemn to help her. But then he remembered, his mother would want him to help, she would want him to continue their work. He brought Anon home and fixed her up, bandaging her wounds. It was then when he realized her golden status, and after, their friendship blossomed. Rank: Silver Uisilon Power: Darkness Manipulation Stance on whether or not to retaliate against the Mundanes(Reason Why): “They killed my mother. She showed me what the world looked like, through her eyes. She made me who I am today, and those, humans, will pay for hurting our race so blindly.”
I WILL PUT SUMMARIES UP HERE; BULLET POINTS AND WHATNOT ABOUT WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE IC ONCE IT'S STARTED 1.) It's their first week on the surface. The first few posts should be more geared towards adjusting, observing new things, and planning the assassinations/revenge on the world leaders. 2.)There will be NPCs as part if the rebel group. There are around ten to fifteen on the surface, total, and a lot more still underground that were scared to get involved. If each of you want one NPC to kind of cling to your character or something like that, that'd be fine. But yes, there will be many NPC for fights and just conversation. 3.)They aren't fighting civilian Mundanes. Hell, they can fall in love with a civilian for all I care :p they are fighting the corrupt world leaders and those who lashed out against them when they wanted peace.
