[Robert] Before we left, Chance decided to answer Miles' questions, starting with "I kinda just live nearby, and he's been my best friend since kindergarten, so it's not like I don't know where he lives," Chance then answered the other question with "I made this armor a while ago, and fitted it to my new body yesterday, as for the sword... come on, did you really think I was THAT good of an artist? I bought it before this whole thing happened," I then focus on the plate piece again, and the thing puts up the stone shield for a moment before flinging us in the air, and finally teleporting us all to California... though, it wasn't as if it was instant, it was more like we were flying extremely fast, instead. Once there, the piece slowly puts us down on the ground near some giant tower with signs and billboards all over the place, some of which say 'I've got a plate piece, so COME AND GET ME, ROBERT!'... oh, right, now I remember Carl... the punk kept saying how he'd 'control the world' and how he could 'tell the future'. I didn't think he was actually serious about that junk, and just sort of laughed whenever he said that, and, for some reason, he thought I was on his side, he thought that I would actually help him with... well, whatever this is. Once he found out that I really wasn't helping him, and that I was just some guy who thought he was joking around, he kinda started to hate me, what he's doing in California is anyone's guess, but I assume he made it here as a part of his scheme and then the apocalypse happened... but... how'd he build this thing? Did he even build it, or did he just take a tower, and then slap all of these crudely-made signs on it? "Well, we're here, everyone, California," I point out to the group. Looking around, though, the only way you could tell that this was Hollywood was the broken sign that I saw earlier in that... vision? Dream? Something. --- [Tony] It seemed as though we should probably just head back, and interrogate the wolf some more about her group, and, seeing as how nobody seemed to want to join anyways, I figured that would be a pretty good idea. "Alright, then, since nobody else is joining, and interrogation might shed some light on that situation, I guess we should go," I announce to the team. The golem (whose name we learned was Dylan), and the dragon (whose name we learned was Tyler) both nodded, and said things that told me they agreed with that plan. It wasn't too far of a trip back, but I had to make sure that I walked at a pace that Connor could follow, which made the trip seem twice as long. Once we finally got there, I saw Mike (I learned on the way that the gryphon's name was Mike, not Mark) still watching over our little stone cell, and there was still a wolf lady in there who looked kinda hungry. Of course, since she was a prisoner, and not a recruit, this wasn't enough to motivate me to take some of the food for the team and feed her with it. "Hey, Mike, we're going to interrogate her... I'm guessing you either can, or want to help," a smile forms on his, er, beak, and I get rid of the jail cell for a moment, just so we can have a talk with her. I then remember that Deravan was really the one who wanted to do it, so, after waiting to make sure he was here, I tell him "Alright, Deravan, ask away... and I'm pretty sure she won't escape, not with pretty much everyone here, she's more outnumbered now than she was yesterday, and now she's probably kinda weak from hunger," I then wait for him to ask her something as the trio from yesterday tries to form a circle with my teammates, just to make sure she doesn't just run off, or try anything stupid.
