As Spartan told anyone left in the store about the back exit his eye's widened slightly when he caught a glimpse of a pirate through the door window that led to the front of the shop, he grit his teeth when he seen the pirate lift a belt of grenades and pull the pin off one, that sound, the ever so quiet sound of a pin being pulled from a grenade echoed through the door and into Spartan's ears, every other sound had faded out as he heard it, he heard more pins being pulled just milliseconds apart, there was more then one pirate doing this, on instinct Spartan tensed up as he got ready to act
"Get Down!" Spartan exclaimed as he turned around as fast as he could and tackled Junko to the floor all in the time it took for one to blink their eye, then the deafening boom of multiple grenades going off followed by the sound of glass shattering and wood splintering barraged the ears of anyone left in the shop as the ceiling gave in and collapsed from the force of the blasts, the raging roar of the flames soon followed as smoke began to flow to what remained of the ceiling, filling what remained of the shop with suffocating black smoke, blocking any source of light, Spartan opened his eye's with teeth grit, cyan blue light came from his eye's illuminating the small space he and Junko were trapped in, fallen wooden beams were pressing down on Spartan's back as he began to push himself off Junko
"hey, are you okay? are you hurt?" he asked in a serous tone as the sound of something collapsing not that far away from them caught his ear

Eve was silently humming a tune to herself while she leaned on Magnus's neck, she was kicking her feet in the air while Magnus lay down on his stomach in wait for Spartan to return, then she heard the sound of explosions, then the back doors to the shop blasted open as fire erupted from it briefly, the building shuddered slightly before the backend of the shop began to collapse
"what happened?!" Eve exclaimed in worry, but she knew that she shouldn't be worried, Spartan had survived much worse then an explosion of that magnitude plus something like a building coming down on him, but that still didn't stop her from worrying
Magnus however wasn't bothered by the incident having seen stuff like this happen to Spartan before, he knew he'd be alright

Kore-Drax had left the ship and was originally going to make a B-line to the shop he was brought to, but stopped for a moment when he seen the smoke of a fire going into the air from that direction, he took a moment to think upon it then pushed the thought aside before continuing down the ramp to make his way to the shop to search for the other key to the ship
