Thomas was hungry, very, very hungry. He hid himself for what felt like ages. He took in his surroundings; there were steel crates piled seemingly organized, he wondered if some of them contained food, but stopped after a while, as he would not be able to open them anyway. And it would only feed his hunger. The walls where dark gray, and along them, through the iron skids, ran a few cables. Some of which powered the lights on the ceiling which rounded off a little bit to the sides. There were 6 lamps in the space, one of them was flickering, it annoyed Thomas, but he was afraid to alert some of the aliens aboard if he moved too much. Many thoughts crossed his mind, but mostly plans to escape any circumstances he might encounter after the ship landed, maybe he could just simply knock the guards out.. Before he had made up a real plan, and just when he felt his stomachache worsen the ship started shaking. It was landing he realized. Now it all came to patience and swiftness. He got up, as silently as possible walked over to the flickering lamp on the beginning of the cargo space, he waited for the opportune moment, felt the ship slowing down, preparing for the impact of the landing. As the ship came down with a blow, he smashed the lamp, creating a darker area in the tonnage. Shortly after the tailgate opened and slammed on a rocky ground, two of the collective started unloading. The third time they walked in, they noticed the lamp was broken, they exchanged a few words then one left and the other one went towards the lamp to check on the damage. As soon as the alien move out of the light he heard a step beside him, turned his head only to realize he had made a mistake and seeing a steel crate quickly nearing his head, a withe flash and then darkness. Thomas crawled towards the opening, keeping as low as possible, looked around and didn't see anything too much alive. 'now' he thought. He crawled(he was faster on four limbs since after his 'transformation') to the left, he got out of the shed ran off into the darkness once again. Still incredibly hungry. After about 20 minutes he saw a facility, there were other (somewhat)human beings. He decided he would spy there, and look if he could at least get some food. He was about to enter the premises as two big bright light went on and showed him to whoever was behind the lamp, he curled himself to a ball, afraid of the punishment that would definitely follow now, according to all his experiences. But his rational self was somewhere deep within him wondering who could be behind the lamp...
