KK's backpeddaling brought her near to a blown out building: an old storefront with gaping holes replacing the windows and a few piles of twisted metal and junk that were once large display shelves. Sensing a path of escape, one of the Beowolves leapt over some rubble and cut off her entrance to the building, giving her a vicious snarl as if pleased it had outwitted her. That rather clever Grimm was promptly smashed into nothing as the ruins above it came down on its head along a piece of a toilet and a rather dust-covered boy. "Indy!" Kaesey cheered as she recognized her friend, giving him a big wave though she never let her flail stop spinning. "Ooh! Does this mean we're partners?! Do you have a thing with getting your clothes dirty? And hey, were you on the toilet before the building broke? That's kinda weird, Indy, you shoulda gone before we left..." The questions came forth at a rapid pace and completely distracted her from the remaining Beowolf, who took the opportunity to lunge at her from the side. Refocusing on the fight, KK dropped a foot back and used the motion to whip her opposite should forward. This carried the flail forward as well and as the beast bore down on her from the air she pressed a tiny button on the metal hilt. With a light hum the motor inside the weapon's head came to life and let out a length of chain for every second her finger remained pressed. It whipped forward in an upward ark and smashed into the bottom of the Grimm's jaw, snapping its mouth shut and sending it wheeling right over her head. Before the weapon completed its rotation, and the flail head went straight into the ground behind her back, she deftly pressed a second button which drew the chain in and let the spinning continue as it had before. "Hmmm... I suppose you're probably right, partner!" She muttered as the Beowolf finally struck the ground and dissipated. A dozen more howls filled the air, seeming to come from every direction as the pack was called to the 'prey'. "Lets go that-a-way!" Kaesey's musical voice cheered as she started jogging off down a street that looked particularly 'center-of-city'ish. Down the opposite street half a dozen slathering Beowolves came into view.
