To say Bright Light was having an awesome day would be an understatement. The tour he had taken Artemis on had started out simple enough. They had dropped of the Lightning he had gathered during the storm in the generator room where he had been able to describe how from here it was transferred to Brighter Lights Corp (‘I know right, they must’ve heard of me and decided that’s how bright the world should be’) on the outskirts of Canterlot through the crystal caverns that ran underneath it, from where it was then distributed to Canterlot’s citizens. After that they had wondered around aimlessly a bit. Not actually working in the weather factory meant that although Bright Light knew there were cool things there, didn’t necessarily mean he remembered where the cool things were. Thankfully they bumped into Sweepy (literally in Bri’s case), and after Bri had explained (and apologised, with a promise he wouldn’t fly over 5mph round the corners) Sweepy had passed on a map detailing the whole building in thorough detail. What had followed was amazing. Bright Light worked in the specialist field of Lightning afterall, so rarely needed to go see the other rooms, which as it turned out were all awesome in their own right. ‘I still can’t believe how they manage to manipulate that rain water into EVERY type of water vapour. It’s certainly improved since the last time I saw it’ Bright Light said with a chuckle. They had come to a stop outside the Room of Four Seasons which, although didn’t serve any practical use, based on how the environment was pure magic, was certainly a sight to behold. ‘Good thing Sweepy had that map on him' he thought as he turned to look at Artemis. ‘I’d have hated to have let Artemis miss out on all this.’ He then proceeded to look back at the room before them. ‘They sure have improved this to. I remember when it would randomly switch from on season to the next without order’. The memory bought a smile to his face, and he was about to share it with Artemis when she began thanking him. ‘I’m glad she enjoyed herself, though I wouldn’t say she’s in my debt considering I had just as much of a good time. The time’s just flown by. I sure hope we get to hang out again soo… ‘Let me make it up to you.’ Artemis continued ‘Join me tomorrow night for the Midsummer Moon Masque at the palace. It would be so nice to have a friend there. Please say you will come.” ‘A party, oh yeah I’m so..wait at the palace’ Bri thought ‘The only party I know off that’s held there is the Gala, which was sooooo boriiinngggg that one time, and with a name like the moon masquerade it sure sounds on the same level. Maybe I should just skip out.’ He was just about to say as much when another thought popped up. ‘Then again last time I had to spend most of it alone, with a friend it could be completely different, and I’ve had such a great time with her today there’s no chance I could be bored, even if it is like the Gala cause she’s awesome and we get along great. Not to mention I literally just thought ‘I hope it’s not long till we hang out again’ and here she is offering me the perfect opportunity. And besides, as her friend I now have a duty to ensure that if it is boring, Artemis doesn’t have to face it alone. So in conclusion we should definetley go to this thing, because fun will ensue one way or another.’ He chuckled at his last thought and then said ‘That sounds like a blast Arti, count me in.’ As he said it a smile broke out on his face. ‘Defo the right decision’ he thought. ‘Though I’ve never heard of the event before.’ He said as he bought his hoof to his jaw while he pondered. ‘Maybe I’ve just been flying in the wrong jetstream or something, but is it something new to celebrate Luna’s homecoming, or has it always been around?’
