“Oof” Darren caught the bag of wonders. His arm felt strangely full of weapons. Despite holding the weapon equivalent of a small army, he still felt like a dead weight. True, he wasn’t invited in the natural sense, but he had to make the best of it and possibly think outside the box. “Thanks, mates. I’ll take good care of the boom bag. Though, I should probably be honest, hypothetically there is one way I can be offensive, but it’s probably stupid so I’ll just keep it for the worst case scenario.” Darren shot an awkward smile and tried to convey the sense of readiness and confidence he needed to as they prepared to head out. “Also, thanks for the gun, I’ve never shot one before, but I’ve read a few comics that had them, so it should be fine.” He knelt and removed his backpack while listening what the signal would be and put the contents of the bag in his backpack. He then put the backpack back on his back and put Mark’s .45 in one of the side-pockets of the backpack.
