Connor thought, the stone gears in his mind grinding and churning. He had a chance to ask anything he could to the wolf. Anything at all? This was his chance to really tell the wolf off just how much he hated her, and maybe put her down even more. He could insult her, but asking her a question that they hadn't thought of could really help the group. Maybe he could kill her, but with that, they'd lose a valuable source of information, and Tony would probably get mad at him and make him go find someone else from their group to imprison and interrogate. "Do you.. know where your parents are?" The words that came out of his mouth surprised him. He didn't mean to ask that, at all. But he didn't take the words back. Connor began to stalk away before Michelle could answer. He shrugged. He could always put her down later. He doubted that cage was soundproof. Connor looked over the forest horizon. The city was far off, and he could make out several small figures out in the distance. The forest was always ripe with other people. After their uneventful city time, he would probably head out and join the hunting got up instead. He was sure he'd be able to come back with some pretty good game if he tried. For the briefest, most fleeting moment, he wondered if he could eat some of the other things in the forest, but he quickly dispelled that idea. They were still people, they just had different forms and some had different minds. It would be just like cannibalism. He was sure there was plenty of rabbit and deer out there for all of them.
