I'm interested in this. A quick off the top of my head character idea is a nephew of the king who is in his early to mid 20s who is the second son of the king's brother, there is no real possibility of him inheriting any titles so he's spent his life so far flitting around. He's done a bit of everything, he was first sent to be a scholar but got bored with acadamia, then to a monastery but his hedonistic lifestyle conflicted with this, maybe he spent time with a band of mercenaries in the wild borderlands until he finally ended up at the king's court at the behest of his father who wanted him to settle down into some more permanent role as part of the king's royal guard or something along those lines. He's a bit of a womaniser, drinker and all round hedonist. 

Those are just my first thoughts on the character so please do make any suggestions you need to if you feel it won't fit with the group/setting.
