[b]Physical Appearance:[/b] Born with the Oculocutaneous Albinism type 1B, Myk has pale skin and light blond hair. Over time his pigmentation of his skin and hair had darkened from an unhealthy pallor and white hair to a reasonable paleness and light blond. His hair is short with the top slightly longer and tousled. Myk has an oval-shaped face with a strong jawline and a rounded chin. He has an average forehead with a straight edged nose. His ears are small, flat, and set close to his head. The light blue eyes are from his albinism which gives him mild vision impairment and are down-turned that make him look melancholy. He looks melancholy in general really. He has broad shoulders and muscular arms from his time spent outside handling animals and plants. Myk is strong enough to handle large animals so there is that. His hands are rough and calloused; they tend to be a bit dirty and/or dusty.
[b]Attire:[/b] To protect his skin, Myk wears long sleeved shirts and cargo pants when he goes out; if he doesn't, he'll slather strong sunscreen over himself. He wears wide brimmed hats when he's out gardening. Due to his sensitivity to light, he constantly has on wraparound sunglasses with mirror coatings and full UV protection.

[b][u]Personality[/u][/b]

[b]Outward & Innate Personality:[/b] He's jokingly called “the Gentle Giant” by many people, but the nickname still applies. Myk is a calm individual and doesn't talk a lot. When he does, he speaks in a deliberately low, slow tone. He takes life and everything that comes his way in at a slower pace than others and people tend to think he's a bit dumb, but he's just suited for a less human environment. He's at his happiest around animals and plants; just any natural environment that hasn't been too heavily affected or influenced by human hands. Surprisingly, Myk is not as good with children as he is with small animals. He tends to panic, in his own way of tensing up and staring blankly at the little people, when they walk up to him. He doesn't approach people as he's fine with being alone with his flowers and chipmunks, so his friends are usually people that approach him first. He tends to befriend quiet, stoic people much more easily than talkative, emotional ones. Myk is also not a violent person; animals and plants do not like violent people so he grew up never fighting. He would be considered a pacifist in that he's never really considered throwing a punch at somebody as even an option. Even when some people thought that beating him up in school would mean they took down the biggest guy and gain a reputation as the strongest person at school, he wouldn't fight or meet up with them. Instead, he would bake a cake and send it to them. He makes up for his lack of speech with his actions.

[b]Hobbies/Interests:[/b] Reading as it's one of the only activities he can still do that hasn't been affected by his vision. He's interested in transportation as he will never be able to drive a car as well.

[b]Skills/Talents:[/b] Baking for one. Myk can't cook, but he makes pretty good desserts. Gardening is a favorite as well as taking care of animals. He's pretty strong and helps with any heavy lifting and moving.

[b]History/Bio:[/b] Mykolas Astraukas was the first child to be adopted by the Baines couple. He was brought to America from Lithuania at the age of three and was immediately given help for his albinism. He was a quiet child that didn't speak a lot, but spent much of his time outside. People fretted over him as they didn't want him to get sunburned or skin cancer and watched over him carefully. It was known from a young age that Myk attracted animals to him. The small woodland creatures in the Baines backyard constantly approached and cuddled with him, and some of the larger animals like raccoons and foxes happily came up to him like house pets much to the worry of his parents. It was also noticed that all of the plants around him bloomed quickly and were more vivid in color than the ones that were not. It was quite a sight to see for many of the Baines's guests for a pale, near-colorless child to be surrounded by animals and bright, blooming plants.

As Myk grew up, his pigmentation darkened to a less obvious symptom of his albinism. He also gained three siblings that he liked. Around the time the Baines adopted Ayumu and Renae, both they and Sheryl showed their powers. Everybody found out that the animals and plants being around him so much were his power. His school years had him either surrounded by books, animals, plants, or all three at one time. When he graduated high school, he decided to skip college and just be a florist. He bakes and volunteers at animal shelters in his free time. He is only going to the academy for his siblings' sake as his power isn't all that strong or interesting. Though recently, he's been noticing that people have become happier and calmer around him.

His presence does that to them and makes hostile animals or sad animals brighten up. Plants bloom and seem to dance around him. What else is there to say? He's got all the powers of a Disney princess and he's almost as useless in a fight. He could probably distract dangerous animals by turning them into tame pets. Recently, his power has become stronger that the people within a two meter radius around him are being the same way the animals and plants are. They become happier and calmer; he might go so far as to say that the people got distracted from their worries around him.

[b]Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks:[/b] Myk can't control any plants, animals, or people to do his bidding. He doesn't feel their emotions, and neither can he talk to the animals and plants. If the animal, plant, or person is particularly hostile, his powers won't be as potent.
