"I give in because a wise man knows when he has been bested." Garret answered slowly, standing stock still as the figure approached, growing nearer and nearer until eventually she was so close he could feel her breath on his neck. Surely it would be a simple task to grab her from this distance, yet that would be incredibly impolite so Garret would do no such thing. Besides, he had already yielded and would not dishonor himself by pulling such a cheap trick. Her questions and phrases were playful, yet somewhat odd, probing almost. Still Garret gave a straight answer. "Expose? I think not, if you recall I simply asked the direction and distance to the nearest town. I admit I am rather lost, and this game of ours has only served to confuse me more." He looked around, not quite being able to tell where they had come from. The shadow of his Roc companion floated across the surface of the ground, that was some comfort at least. His eyes looked back to the figure in front of him, something was off about the woman but Garret couldn't quite figure out what. There was just something about her, about this whole place really, that gave him an odd feeling.
