Kyo looked up at the sound of a familiar voice. Somehow he had spaced out again while walking down the hall, and found himself just staring at the carpet in thought, but he started off towards the direction he had heard the voice as soon as he snapped out of his distracted state. Thankfully, it seemed that he was actually pretty close to the stairs, and as he walked closer to the voice's source, he could soon see Katherin and her friend standing near them. 

A few taps on the tablet: "Do you need help?" He assumed that they were trying to make their way down the stairs, but it seemed polite to ask anyway rather than just assume exactly what was required of him.
