Whoever ends up doing The Templar, we should probably talk, as I included him a little in my bio. I can always edit that if you want to work out something specific. Anyway, here's my CS, I hope you like her.
Name: Arria Valencia Age: 24 Class: The Sister Race: Human Art Credit: http://eddy-shinjuku.deviantart.com/ Appearance: Arria’s not especially large, nor is she tiny, standing at roughly 5’6” with a decently athletic build, though she’s clearly not a powerhouse in any physical regards. Her hair is a fiery red, falling to the middle of her back, though she often ties it up loosely and keeps it within the hood of her robe. Her eyes are a light, clear blue, and she has been told that she had a fairly intense gaze, though she does what she can to soften, considering that a great deal of her occupation involves speaking with and comforting or providing morale to the struggling. Physically, she’s actually in better shape than one might expect of a priestess, and that’s because the work of a healer can be quite taxing, especially one who travels, as Arria often does. There isn’t a great deal of strength in her arms, but her physique is toned and fairly hourglass in shape, with moderate womanly attributes somewhat concealed beneath her robe. In all, she has a very fair appearance, befitting of a servant of the Goddess. Weapons: None, Arria is a pacifist, like any other Sister of the Goddess. Armor: Following the undead attack, and the heavy losses sustained, it was determined by her remaining Templar to be best if she found some kind of armor to wear. She's not strong enough to move with any kind of heavy armor, but a light chainmail shirt was found for her to wear under her robes, in the hopes of providing some protection for her in the event that the Templar and the others alone aren't enough. On her lower body she wears leather leggings and knee-high boots, sturdy enough to be good for traveling. Abilities: Arria is gifted by the Goddess with the ability to magically heal wounds and cure ailments by channeling a holy light through them, an ability very few Sisters possess. This requires focus and energy, but Arria is quite adept in the art, able to mend serious wounds if given the proper amount of time to work and the ability to concentrate. The disease of the undead that ravages the land, however, is almost beyond her power to fight. Curing the infection from someone’s body requires almost all of her magical energy, and will leave her exhausted and unable to heal anyone else until she receives a full period of rest. Likes: Healing, Companionship, Music, Traveling, Teaching, Learning, Faith Dislikes: Violence, Darkness, Deception, Indecision, Cold, Lone Wolf Types Goal: The Necromancer’s black magic has impacted her personally, and Arria has watched enough men and women die, looking to her for salvation that she could not provide, for her to be dead set on fixing things. Her goal is to find and stop the Necromancer, or otherwise find a way to better combat his magic. History: Arria Valencia is a child of nobility, hailing from a wealthy family that had long lived in the kingdom’s capital. She was born the younger of two children, her older brother of two years serving as a positive inspiration for her growing up. Her family was strongly religious, having many close ties to the Templars and the Sisterhood. Arria could have chosen a different path, but the politics of nobility did not appeal to her, and as a young teen she entered as an initiate into the Sisterhood. The Goddess clearly found favor in her, imbuing healing powers as she came of age. This was a rare gift among the Sisters, and allowed her to rise among the ranks of the youth. Her ego became somewhat inflated for a time as a result of this, but strong teaching was able to instill a sense of humility in her. Her pride still slips through the cracks sometimes, however. Eventually Arria was admitted as a full Sister, quicker than most, and due to her gifts, took up the duties of a traveling healer and teacher of the ways of the Goddess. She was assigned Templar warriors for protection. Initially she had hoped her brother, now a Templar himself, might be chosen as one of her protectors, and when this was not the case she was somewhat dissatisfied for a period of time, though she’s largely moved on from that by now. She found a great deal of fulfillment in her work, and learned much about the world and its many peoples. The effects of the Necromancer’s magic hit her very hard, however. As a healer chosen by the Goddess, Arria has felt responsible for saving as many people as she can, but the magic is so powerful that it often completely overcomes her ability to fight it. More than once she has saved one life, and then needed to save another soon after, finding herself unable to do so, her magical blessings spent. She hides it fairly well, but guilt begins to tear at her from the inside, as more and more die that she cannot save. Secretly, she has begun to doubt the power of her Goddess, and each time she fails to save someone only strengthens this doubt. The Necromancer’s magic seems unstoppable, her faith small and weak in comparison. She’s searching, desperate even, for a way to turn the tides that grip the land, and a way to prove that the Goddess is everything she believes. Personality: Arria is fiery and vibrant, strong-willed and kind at heart. She is normally quite the positive spirit, though recent events have put a certain damper on that, which she struggles with daily. She feels very strongly, both positive and negative emotions, and has a tendency to be somewhat bull-headed, especially if she sees an opportunity to make a difference. She can be stubborn when her mind is set on something, and may occasionally act rashly, not always thinking through consequences or threats to her well-being. Romantically, she has never really been very concerned, as can be expected, considering that the Sisters are strictly forbidden from romantic involvement of any kind. Even besides that, her work and travel have always kept her too busy to be occupied with such a thing, even more so now that the undead plague the land. This doesn’t prevent her from making friends, though. Arria loves spending time around other people, and actually is not fond of being alone for long.
