He was angry...so angry it was though he didn't care what the man had to say before Matt swallowed him in a chasm of fire. He inched closer to the bastard, and with every step, the fire slowly began to consume him, his body and his very soul. Even after the old man lowered his gun in a sign of surrender, Matt persisted to move towards him, but something grabbed him out of the corner of his eye, a familiar sight, an all to familiar shade of blonde. "Oh shit!" He muttered under his breath. It was her! The girl! She....she saw him....on fire! Quickly, just as the flames emerged from his body, they subsided, leaving Matt practically unscathed. "F*ck...hope she didn't see everything." He whispered to himself before turning to the man, "You got lucky, asshole." and storming past him. Dammit...he let himself get too wrapped up in it. Usually he had control over this newfound power of his, but getting himself all worked up like that, Matt might as well have doused his whole body in kerosene. He kept walking, trying his best to avoid eye contact with the girl across the street from him. "F*cking smooth, Matt. Real f*cking smooth...."
