Her father was a Police officer serving the Southeast precinct of Memphis city while her mother was a Fire Chief and chief Paramedic. Needless to say they hardly had any time for their daughter leaving her to keep to her own devices and trusting her more than most parents would. Holly thrived with that trust and stepped up displaying maturity far from her years even at a early age which in turn caused her grades in school to skyrocket. By the time she reached high school Holly was well equipped to handle basically anything the world could throw at her. Or so she thought. In eleventh grade right at the end of the school year her father was shot and killed by a thief while escaping the scene, her mother... Killed by the same man as he crashed into her chief's car leaving her dead, and Holly with no family near her. To make matters worse, the month before, her baby brother had been born. With steel coming from her many years of looking after herself Holly emancipated herself, took custody of her brother and with the help of some of her parent's friends managed to graduate as valedictorian with a full scholarship to none other than Arkansas State University for criminal justice. Without repeating to much history life remained hard for the four years of college studying but as with everything Holly pushed through and after the first two years actually started to get used to the whole situation. However her relationship/friend life was non-existent and aside from some classmates whom she studied with Holly's only interaction was with her brother and cat. After graduating with honors and on the deans list Holly applied and was accepted into the Memphis city police department as a full detective fresh out of college. Her life started becoming manageable and Holly found she actually loved playing mother to her brother and shoved every last bit of herself into making sure HE had it easier than herself which was a battle that was constantly being waged. More often than not the boy was expected to do as she had done and take care of himself. Despite all of the hardships Holly was happy and she was overjoyed with the relationship she had with her brother, which was more than any average mother/son relationship. Holly could talk t him about anything and she loved every second of it. Occupation Pre-Apocalypse: Holly served with the Memphis city police at South Main Station which was central precinct, she was a senior detective serving with West Memphis Police at the time of the outbreak and was one of the lead investigators of several reports of murder in the city of Jonesboro.
