Luna smiled gratefully as Illyce dropped down beside her from the saddle and started to fuss over her wounded arm, despite the pain it was good to be coddled, just a little. Illyce was showing her truly vulnerable side when she attempted to act the medic. It had only happened on a couple of occasions and normally it had only been to the extent of a grazed knee and once a broken arm when Luna had tried to imitate a squirrel and attempted to climb a tree. That had been a sight to behold and despite the pain in her arm she could not help the pained smile that crossed her face, Illyce had been more shocked and alarmed than she had been. From a woman that could face a hundred well armed foes without a trace of fear but the terror and helplessness in her eyes as her hands shook to even touch the arm that was swelling rapidly was something Luna found endearing. After a couple of hesitating and uncertain moments where Illyce fumbled first to clean the wound with some water then to attempt at tying a bandage around it. Hands shaking nearly as badly as when she had broken her arm Illyce looked up at her after tying the first knot, her face was uncertain and her voice matched. "Is that ... Too tight, Princess?" She asked. Luna giggled somewhat and reaching over she quickly gathered the lose end of the knot and using both her free hand and her mouth she tied it tightly and firmly against her arm. Looking up at Illyce with her large blue eyes she gently reached out with her uninjured arm and patted her face encouragingly. “See all my years of embroidery were worth something after all, you just need a little more practice with your needle work Illy.” Luna smiled warmly up at her. “Come on, we aren’t much use here, wherever here is? Speaking of which where is umm … Lot was it, where is he? Did you leave him somewhere?” And she started to look around into the foliage as if expecting to see him appear from behind a bush or tree. Illyce smiled back with genuine intensity as Luna looked around, standing as she did and helping her starlight haired charge up in one fluid motion. “No I actually left him to set up a camp for us and if by some miracle that cloth minded fool has managed it we may have a half decent place to come back to, I think we could all use some rest before continuing north.” Gazing quickly at the sky Illyce took note of the time, the morning was quickly dissolving into midday. “Come Princess let us make haste, I am eager to continue on before we run into any more unwelcome company.” With that Luna was quickly and efficiently bundled up into the saddle with Illyce behind and Goya was quickly making his way towards Lot and whatever camp he had been able to set up in their absence.
