Red Winston, Christopher Fox, Victoria LaRouse, Shannon Balore, Deborah Termellio, "Pink" Vincigarru, and Ben Voss Red was one of the first people to jump on the ship. Even though he was almost certain that Deborah would already know if something fishy was on the shipwreck, he still had to check things on his own, with his own eyes, his own perspective. He followed the group that was already aboard, while checking his surroundings. To his dismay, apart from the destruction around, there was nothing to noticable - or interesting - to grab his attention. The only thing that was out of place was some unnaturaly bent mettalic parts of the ship, although Red couldn't make the connection with Chris' ability. He was still ignorant of his time at the school, or his abilities to do so. Victoria was one of the last people to board the ship, knowing what she would face up there. The stench that surrounded the deck, a result from the "hangouts" of the students was something that she hated. If she knew, she would have a mask with her, or at least a ton of air fresheners. The only one that stayed behind after her was Chris, who wasn't in a condition to climb the ladder Shannon created. That was a minor problem, though, because Victoria used her power to swap places with him, then climb up the stairs again. As soon as she climbed, she gave Chris a warm smile, to which Chris smiled back. "You have an interesting power Victoria, I can give you that!" "You should see the more creative ways I use my ability...This much is pretty standard to me!" This conversation, however, was probably the last pleasant he would have while on the ship. Things around him started to shake him off, although not so much initially. He recognised the damage around him. Most of it was his doing. There were so many things he wanted to forget about this place, it made him sick. A shiver ran down his spine as soon as he entered the foyer, though. It was here that it happened. One by one, memories of what happened here twelve years ago started to unravel. Chris mentally came back to the time where the shipwreck was in a better condition than this. The objects that remained from the time the ship came down were in their proper places, relocated by the students who were using it as their hangout at the time. Some metahumans even repaired the chandeliers in the foyer so they could be used at night. The metallic parts of the ship were intact at the time, giving the place more stability than it had now. It was perfect for a hangout, especially for the more "misbehaving" students, since it rarely - if ever - was observed by the staff of the school. Chris wasn't a frequent visitor of the shipwreck, since it was usually full of people who would do something stupid and Chris didn't like that at all. He didn't really know what happened inside at the time, since he was a child back then, so he referred to what the older students did as stupid. Innocent times. It was back then that Chris was hot-headed, rushing to anything that seemed injust. That's what happened and set things off. Deborah kept her oh-so-observant eye on Chris the entire time. She stared at him, not a single thing he did went unobserved by the extra-perceptive girl (Chris is regressing back to that day). This place is important to him, a defining moment I might add. I must learn more.... Deborah kept looking at Chris, letting the information pour, until she had seemingly lost herself. Deborah started scanning the room, nothing moving but her eyes. To an outside observer, it appeared as if she spaced out. Everything in here was a piece of information. A piece of a distant story. Something she must uncover. The information kept pouring into her head, and she loved it.... Until... that head of her started filling. Seconds passed, and more and more information kept pouring into her head... She just... Couldn't handle it! She dropped to her knees and screamed at the top of her lungs. Grabbing the sides of her head. This was an information overload, her head was getting bombarded with more info than she could possibly process. It flooded her thoughts, she couldn't even think for herself. It was hellishly painful. Blood had begun dripping down from her nose and ears... Some even started leaking out from her eyes. "Make.... make it stoooooooooop!" She screamed loudly, thrashing around on the ground. (Chris had ruined-This is what happens when you lose control- You should not have co-This school is a place of-Everyone here is worried about you-Your life is on the road to ruin-What is the Headmaster hiding...Bloodsucker is coming....) Deborah could even tell what was going on with her power. What happened was that Deborah's power went on overdrive, telling her random bits and pieces of information. "Debby!" Shannon shouted as she ran over to Deborah. She embraced her, wrapped her arms around her tightly. "What is wrong!? C-calm down!" She grabbed Deborah by the shoulders, staring her dead in the eyes. She was honestly at a lost for what to do. What in God's name had triggered all of this? "... It's... I'm going to get you out of here!" She shouted. By the time Shannon had embraced her however, Deborah had already faded out of the world. Falling into a trance-like state. She... Didn't know how to describe it. Her drive to learn what happened here was finally going to be sated. Everything she wanted to see, and more, flashed before her mind's eye.... The vision showed that Chris had boarded the ship with Henry and Vera. He wouldn't normally go to the shipwreck, but it was a magnificent night to go check the sea from there. A few hours after their arrival, one of the older students found it rationable to hit on Vera, in a not so appropriate way, to add. Chris was ticked by this and the provocative demeanor of the other party made things worse, leading to a quarrel, which took bigger proportions when their abilities got involved. Chris was on the losing side, quite beat-up from the more experienced student. However, the situation forced Chris to tap to the very dephts of his capabilites, granting him a collosal boost of his powers, at the cost of his control over them. With his powers out of control, little by little, screws of the ship were attracted to him, then whole pillars of metal and many other metallic objects were flying around the ship. The ship shaked, being so unstable that most of the students fell down and were dragged to whichever side the ship was moving to. The students that were alarmed soon enough didn't think twice before using their powers to get out of the shipwreck and save their lives. The guy Chris was fighting, along with 10 more people weren't so lucky though. Chris' power also misplaced one of the chandeliers, which took his arm away, the crystalline parts of it causing him the many scars on his body and taking his consciousness away. It wasn't long before Deborah awoken. Wondering what the hell just happened. She was still experiencing a pain like no other, but the overload, the overload just stopped.... She didn't feel right in the head. The room was spinning, and there was a pounding headache as she tried to process everything that she just learned. Her eyes were half-opened as she looked around, her vision was blurry. Deborah's face felt wet. She lazily used a hand to swipe whatever off her face, and when she looked at her hand... it was covered in blood. She jolted, then everything began to sink in, and become clear to her. What happened here... she suffered a nasty information overload. She hung her head, and put a palm to her forehead. She went overboard. Again. "... Debby?" Shannon asked her, with puppy eyes. Deborah didn't even notice that someone was holding onto her. "Are you... okay?" Deborah didn't waste any time in embracing Shannon, quietly saying, "... Yeah, yeah, I'm fine..." A tear went down her eye. "I... Just want to leave here." The memories that flashed through made Chris sit on his knees, showering in his sweat and mumbling to himself so fast that he wasn't making any sense. Red noticed a small, metal shard going near Chris. Then another one. It was the worst possible way to finally make a connection between Chris and the shipwreck. "Oh, no...Things are gonna turn really bad if what's happening right now is what I think it is..." When Chris fell to his knees, Deborah's head darted towards him. She was coming-to, slowly, but had enough of her senses to know what was going on. When the shard slid over the ground towards Chris, Deborah's eyes widened (... He is losing control). Suddenly, Deborah panicked (This is only the beginning), her heart started racing, she gasped, an she started crawling away from him, pulling Shannon with her. "He's losing control! Everyone move!" Deborah could barely walk straight right now, when she tried to climb to her feet, she almost fell over. Which is where Shannon stepped in and threw her arm over her shoulder. Helping her get out the door. Red had already figured out that Chris was losing it. They had to move quick. Red had to process everything in a matter of seconds, but things turned complicated when a bending sound happened. A big supporting pillar of the ship was bending and more and more shards were gathering around him. It wasn't long before the ship itself started shaking, endagering their lives. "You heard Deborah! Everyone head to the rafts! Things will turn ugly any moment now!" Victoria followed Deborah's advice and headed to the door. She stood there to help the others get out with her power, replacing the falling debris with any light object she could see at the time. As soon as Shannon and Deborah made it to the exit, Victoria followed them, supporting Deborah from the other shoulder. She hoped that Shannon wouldn't mind for once to get help from someone else, since it was an emergency. Meanwhile Ben was working to make sure everyone had gotten out safely. He played caboose on the way out, his goliath form allowing him to potentially sponge some impact from the ship if something went wrong. With an inhuman sound, huge treetrunks shot out of the floot, smashing through the metal and curving around the entrance to provide support. The golem then turned, and slowly but steadily began picking up speed. It's footfalls were heavy and shook the ground slightly. It took several seconds for it to reach a running pace, but by the time it did it was already upon Deborah, Shannon, and Victoria. But Ben was ready for this. With arms wide and open the great golem scooped up all three of the girls with one arm without breaking it's pace, and only began to slow down as soon as it exited the ship. Huge and thick vines shot out of the sand and wrapped around Ben's body to keep his avatar from running into the water with the girls in his arms. He skidded, but slowed enough to deposite the girls onto the rafts, and then began to push the raft they were on away towards the main island. He turned back and waited for Red and Chris to come out, he wouldn't leave without them. Not yet. "What the hell?!" Pink loudly shouted from the water front. She didn't want to go on the boat for herself, rather stay in the water and relax. Then a bunch of screaming could be heard, then everything started shaking and falling apart! Pink couldn't handle it, she was about to bail out when Ben came charging out of the shipwreck and dropped the gals that were with them on the raft. Whatever the hell happened in there, it might be raw. Whatever the case, Pink was going to help. "Big man!" Pink shouted, she manipulated the water around the raft again, and started pushing the raft back towards the shore. "I got them, you get the others!" Red was left alone with Chris in the foyer by now. The situation demanded Red to act quickly, but with the metallic shards moving towards Chris, it was far to difficult to approach him to get him out of the shipwreck. He tried taking a step closer, but a shard cut part of his suit, at the height of his right bicep, although it didn't harm him. He considered leaving Chris, but then he thought that he would be letting another person die in front of him. Bracing himself for a painful experience, Red approached Chris step by step, the shards tearing his suit apart, eventually wounding his body. Red finally approached Chris and tried to reason with him. Nothing that he said would go through his head, though. Chris was shut off from any outside sound at the moment. It was after tenuous thinking that Red finally found something to get through him. "Chris, if you don't stop now, you will get me killed! You will have killed one more person! Since I am not planning on leaving you behind, just get back to your senses and stop!" A shard cut a deep wound on Red's right side of the forehead then, causing intense bleeding and blurring of his respective eye. However, it seemed that this was the last metallic shard to move towards him and the only thing that could be heard was the ship's moving and Chris' panting. Understanding that Chris came back to his senses, Red didn't lose any time. He picked Chris and piggy-backed him to the exit, but it was obstructed by yet another metallic pillar. Red laughed at the irony and was about to give up. "Well, I tried..." he said to himself. Suddenly, the big chunk of metal started to move and Red turned his head to see Chris' arm raised towards the direction it was. He didn't have to think what was going on and just dashed out as fast as he could. He headed to the direction the rafts was and jumped in the water. He emerged a few seconds later, swam to the rafts, helped Chris get on and then boarded them himself. The injury on his forehead was bleeding more than before and it messed his whole right side, the blood dropping on the floor. He was feeling a bit dizzy too. "This will probably leave a mark..." Ben, seeing that the other two had gotten out, followed quickly in suit, pushing the raft off and then, well, his whole avatar fell apart piece by piece. It had been running on battery life here on the ship wreck, and now most of it was drained. That and the addition of getting wet dampened his power as well. As his avatar fell apart Ben fell out of the golem, but didnt remain the way he was to catch his breath for long. With the power a big man like himself had, he pushed himself up and ran into the water, pulling himself onto the raft that Chris and Red were on. He was no medic, but anyone could tell they were both out of it. Red had a head injury, and Chris was probably in shock. He wished he could call out to Pink, but with his injury he couldnt. He simply waved in her direction hoping to catch her attention. The raft went to shore, and Shannon and Deborah jumped out of them like they've seen a ghost. Deborah hit the sand, and lied there on her back, panting. Jesus, this whole trip was a disaster. But what happened back there...? She saw the course of events like she was a bystander. A vision. This was... something else. She would have to describe it to Adam later. But for now, she just wanted to sleep. Her head was on fire, she was in pain, and blood was dripping down everywhere. Though, Shannon came by with a cloth and wiped off the blood from Deborah's face. "You can't go back to school looking like that, now can you...?" She knelt down above her injured lover. Both their eyes had connected. "I hope you're okay, Debs." She put a hand on Deborah's shoulder. "... I think I'm fine...." Deborah began to get up on her behind, coming at even level with Shannon's face. "... With you here, I'm even better." She said, with a smile. Right now, she wasn't too self-conscious about keeping her little secret. There were more important things going on here. Shannon actually smiled, "... Maybe once we're alone, we can improve upon even that." "Sure." Deborah was hoisted over Shannon's shoulder again, her lover was shorter than her by two inches, so it wasn't too much of an effort. She thought it was about time they end this little incursion and head back to school. But first... "Alright, is everyone okay!?" Deborah shouted loudly, "Let's get out of here! This was a disaster!"
