Well, I realized something, I have nothing to post. The point of Stars Without Number is that the players are in control. I'm not going to have a wise old man show up at the door of your ship and say "You must save the galaxy, for you are the chosen ones." I'm waiting on you guys to do something, whether that be look into the job offers you have, look for new offers, go to a different planet, assassinate a politician, etc. Running a ship and living costs money, and while it's completely fine if you decide to do nothing, eventually you're going to run out of money. Think of it like GTA or another open world game: you can choose to stand in a corner and do nothing, but then exactly that will happen, absolutely nothing. If you want new jobs, you are going to go looking for new jobs. I'm sorry if this sounded rude, aggressive, or something along those lines. This was basically just me saying I can't post because all my post would say is "Time passes as two of you nap on a ship and the third is wandering the city with no way of communicating with the others." I'm can't really post until there is something for me to post about. As for the criminal work thing, that sounds interesting.
