Ark sat at a desk in a dimly lit room. The light flickered constantly, and the room itself looked to be in disrepair. The room Ark sat in was his homeroom, the delinquent classroom, or at least, that is what it was commonly referred to as. Ark was reprimanded for well..groping Ariadne. It was an accident, but the Headmaster had no problem punishing him anyway. Though, it felt more like the Headmaster was protecting him from the vile glares and rumors from the other students. Ark had sat there for a while now. He was alone in the classroom. Not even a teacher had arrived. Ark was getting fed up with waiting. He got up from his seat and walked up to the front of the room. Once he arrived at the teacher's desk, he saw something he had yet to notice; a small slip of paper that read something about Ark being transferred to a different homeroom because.... Mr. Bicard had been kidnapped? Apparently, this Mr. Bicard was his homeroom teacher. Ark, still slightly confused by the message grabbed his bag, placed it at his side, put his lightly armored cloak back on, and walked out of the room, making his way to 4-Q. Obviously, Ark was late, given that he had no idea that the note was there until he found it by chance. When he finally reached the room, he saw a girl walking in (Dagny) who didn't seem like someone you wanted to mess with. One punch from her would probably be like getting hit in the face with a brick going 60 mph. Ark walked into the room, right as the Homeroom Advisor began to single out Dagny. “Ah, Ms. Ek. Thank you for volunteering,” “Volunteering for what?” “Your name, favorite food, and interesting fact about yourself" “I’m Dagny Ek—you can leave it at Dag. My favorite food is…meat, and my favorite color is orange.” “Thank you” The Homeroom Adviser looked over at Ark with a warming smile. It sort of creeped Ark out. " Mr Ein, would you plea-" Dr. Li was cut short by Ark. " Please refrain from referring to me by that. Most of my species would take offense from being referred to as their Dredjin 'En. Humans call it a last name, correct? It serves an entirely different purpose in our language, and is considered to be sacred, therefore, those other than holder of the name and related peoples are not permitted to use it, unless your trying to offend them, anyway." Ark's hand was in a fist. Yea. He took this stuff pretty seriously. This is the 4th year in a row that this has happened. Wouldn't they learn not to do that anymore? "Well then, I sincerely apologize. would you please tell us your-" Ark cut him off again. "My name is Arkyiel 'Ein of Grenheim, Please refer to me as Ark. I have no food preference, and I was involved in an unfortunate incident yesterday. Though, I highly doubt that any of you don't already know that. Though, it was simply an accident, so I would rather you all think little to nothing of what happened, as I have already expressed my apology." Dr. Li sat at his desk with a bit of a surprised look on his face. He didn't expect to make a terrible mistake, offend a student, and get interrupted twice in the same five minutes. "Uh... Thank you... Who would like to go next?" Ark took his seat, and tried to calm down. What a terrific start to a new year. Everything was falling a part from the start.
