We didn't ignore her. She came in right as another person did. It's sort of a "OH SHIT! A Person!" and then "OH SHIT! Another person!" sort of thing.

And maybe Maddox does end up saving them, and I can have my character have some sort of attack that he helps her out of with some sort of knowledge, or maybe he just saves them, and grunts at them to be more careful, and so they follow him, if not just for safety.
