An idea for future situations like this, where everyone splinters off into different groups for smaller conversations: maybe mini-group members can make a post in the IC as a spot holder for whatever conversations are being held by their characters, and then their conversation can be carried out in PMs, and edited into the post once they finish. I just figure it would be more convenient, so the entire group doesn't have to wait on a small non-plot relevant conversation to finish up before moving on. I just worry about flagging momentum in the RP if everyone's always waiting on someone else. And of course we don't want to sacrifice those small conversations as they're very important for character development and relationships. With this idea though, it limits characters being able to organically enter and leave conversations as the number of participants would be preset. To fix this, maybe the convos would only move to PMs once everyone else has gone into "sleep mode" and is waiting for the next plot point to happen? Thoughts?
This seems like a great idea for the small conversations. It also sort of adds a sense of suspense for those who aren't in the conversation. Of course, this means I would be monitoring these PMs to make sure that everything flows smoothly. Anyways, it is possible that I will be taking up the position of GM for the roleplay Romance Dawn in my signature. So, I will occasionally be looking into that every now and then but this RP will take precedent of Romance Dawn.
