The main criticism stems from the blind lack of empathy, understanding, or desire to help others going through struggles one has literally [i]just[/i] gone through. Your scenario is nothing to do with that empathetic, emotional connection; it's about an external, temporary annoyance. Even if that weren't true, it's also pretty understandable that someone cannot relate to a baby, whereas you would expect a degree of understanding for people in a situation you're barely even out of yourself.
