Vigil will be my 'hero' character while Miranda will be a secondary character, but she is very important to Vigil's story and operations. The bios are finished, but I am working on pictures/
Real Name: Connor Law Alias: Vigil Role: Hero (although the alter-ego 'Vigil' is a wanted criminal) Physical Appearance: Connor stands 6'0 and weighs 195 lbs. He has an athletically-built body type, two bullet wound scars on the left side of his stomach, dark blue eyes, short black hair, a rough stubble, and tanned skin. Warlord-M1: Connor will acquire the Warlord-M1: a suit that uses synthetic braces in the knees, shoulders, and elbows that will augment Connor's speed and strength. The concept was originally designed by the ACRD (Advanced Combat Research Division) ten years ago for use in warfare, but the cell was shutdown shortly after development on the Warlord-V2 began. The V1 was a basic prototype and inefficient and scrapped. The V2 was never physically developed, but the ACRD had documents detailing its construction. Miranda was able to hack these age-old documents, order the necessary components, and constructed her own version of the Warlord suit, dubbing it 'Warlord-M1' (M for Miranda). Powers: Braces in Warlord-M1 give Connor enhanced speed and strength (think Captain America). He has no actual powers. Talents: -Peak Condition (Speed, Strength, Endurance) (military experiences, personal workouts, Jagar Kin's training) -Martial Artist (military experiences, Jagar Kin's training) -Weapons Specialist and Marksman (military experience, Jagar Kin's training) -Military Adaptation (ability to operate, use, and repair military-grade equipment) (military experience, Jagar Kin's training) -Demolitions Expert (ability to create, understand, arm, repair, disarm, and locate explosive devices) (military experience, Jagar Kin's training) -Torture Expert (ability to torture without remorse) (personal training, Jagar Kin's training) Personality: Connor takes 'harsh justice' to a whole new level. He doesn't care who you are or what you do, but he has a specific set of 'rules' and if you break those rules then he will actively pursue you until he eliminates you with extreme prejudice. Connor's most common targets are 'free' criminals: serial killers, kidnappers, rapists, drunk drivers, and drug dealers. His goal is to eliminate all the 'bad' in this world to make it a better place, and he's damn good at it, although his methods are a bit extreme. Connor takes a personal joy in torturing his victims before finally killing them in brutal ways, leaving the scene of the 'crime' exactly as-is. Anyone who gets in his way or tries to stop him will be met with harsh criticism and a potential fight. Anyone who agrees with him and helps him will find Connor to be a fairly capable, if somewhat psychotic ally. Background: Connor grew up in a small suburb in the northeast. He lived a normal life, completed school, played sports, and went off to college. But something was 'missing'. Connor always felt 'alone' despite having friends and engaging in multiple relationships throughout his life. Connor needed someone to care for, and that wish was granted when Connor adopted a young girl named Ellie. Connor spent the next six years raising the girl as best he could, putting her through school and ensuring she was happy. She looked to him as a father and he looked at her as a daughter. When the girl was 12, Connor's home was broken into one night and Connor failed to fight them off. Ellie was kidnapped and nowhere to be found. Connor experienced severe stress and anxiety for the next two weeks. The body of the missing girl was found shortly after those two weeks, sending Connor plummeting into a fit of rage, stress, and panic attacks. He was broken, destroyed, demolished. He was no longer the man he once was. After a month went by the broken man decided he no longer had a purpose in life, so he joined the US Army. He would spend a total of four years in the Army. In that last year his convoy was attacked somewhere in the Middle East and he was the lone survivor of the ambush. He fled the scene before he could be taken hostage but was confronted and later subdued by a lone mercenary in the region. This mercenary was 'Jagar Kin'; he had been separated by his task force after entering the hostile region and was hiding in the outskirts. Jagar interrogated Connor to ensure that he was indeed a soldier of the US. Jagar explained he'd help Connor escape, but only if Connor helped him on his mission: to rid the region of 'evil'. For the next year the two individuals became close friends, engaging in multiple two-man hits around the heavily-fortified region. They destroyed entire terrorist compounds, freed hostages, eliminated high-priority targets, and more. The entire time Connor was trained by Jagar and molded into a capable martial artist and saboteur. After that year the duo's hideout was discovered and attacked. Jagar was injured and opted to stay behind so that Connor could escape; telling him to 'make things right' in the world. Connor did not want to leave his friend, but ultimately pushed those feelings aside and fled through a secret tunnel. It would not take long for Connor to be found and picked up by US personnel who would bring him back to the states. In the states Connor recollected everything Jagar had taught him. Jagar had turned him into a weapon, and Connor would use this training to do good in the world. He became a vicious vigilante. He began a ruthless crusade to hunt down the people who had killed his dear Ellie. He would never find the people who hurt her, but he didn't hesitate to outright kill anyone he believed was associated with the crime. It didn't matter to him anymore: you break the law, Connor was coming for you, and he wouldn't stop until he killed you. For specific crimes Connor would torture his victims until they begged for mercy, giving them a brutal death in the end. This went on for a few months, and Connor managed to cover his tracks up perfectly. His alter-ego, 'Vigil', was deemed a 'hero' amongst the populace, but the government deemed him as armed and dangerous: a wanted criminal. It would be Miranda Williamson, an FBI agent, who finally discovered the identity of this 'Vigil'. With her clever and ingenuous methods she managed to confront this 'Vigil', whom she knew was Connor Law in truth, and held him at gunpoint. She question why Connor was doing all this killing and Connor's answer was that he was trying to 'rid the world of evil'. He just wanted revenge for what happened to Ellie, and he wanted to make sure anyone who ever tried to hurt an innocent person would pay dearly for it. Miranda, looking satisfied, lowered her gun and offered him help. There began a partnership soon after and the two individuals worked together to take down child trafficking rings and other major crime-rings. Miranda swore to help Connor find Ellie's killers, but so far the search has turned up nothing. In secret, Miranda was working on the Warlord-M1, and was going to give it to Connor, believing it was his destiny to become a great hero, but she hesitated - as Connor was to unstable at the moment. With the approaching death of Asyr, Miranda has no choice but to give it to Connor, transforming him into the upcoming hero: Vigil. How do they take the death of Lady Asyr? Connor would never get along with Lady Asyr if he had met her, but deep down he has a certain respect for her, as she was Ellie's hero - his adoptive daughter. Ellie looked up to her, wanted to be her, and loved her so much. With her death... Connor feels like Ellie is dying all over again.

Real Name: Miranda Williamson Role: Civilian Appearance: Miranda is 5'6, has a lithe body build, blue eyes, fair skin, and long blonde hair. Talents: -Basic fighting skills (experience as a cop) -Basic weapon skills (experience as a cop) -Computer Technologist (college, personal training) -Intelligent, Clever (personal experience) -Observant (experience as a detective) Personality: Miranda is no fool. She takes the world as it is: people just trying to make a living. But she knows there will always be someone in this world taking advantage of the good people, and she aims to do her part in stopping that. She's good-natured, has a good judge of character, is respectful and friendly, and is willing to help anyone in need. She's able to see the bigger picture. This is a stark contrast to her ally, Connor 'Vigil' Law. Background: Miranda's father was a police officer who was killed in the line of duty when she was only seven years old. Her mother struggled to raise her, but with the help of a local philanthropist Miranda was given a great education. Miranda was an intelligent young woman and was able to head on to College, again with the help of the same philanthropist, John Eskew. She studied law, but took classes in a variety of other fields. She would become a cop, like her dad before her, but would quickly work her way into becoming a detective and finally an FBI Agent. Miranda had an extremely remarkable career, but it was one she began to gamble on. One case she wanted to work was the 'Vigil' case, but she was never chosen to investigate. So she took matters into her own hands and personally tracked Connor Law down. She could have arrested him, but she suspected him of wanting to do the right thing, so she decided to help him. Using FBI resources, Miranda began to help Connor in his crusade and the duo took down multiple crime-rings. They were a successful team. For a while Miranda was developing the Warlord-M1, a replication of the Warlord-V2 developed by the ACRD ten years prior, with a bit of her own ingenuity. Miranda finally finished its construction, but hesitated giving it to Connor. However, with the coming death of Asyr, Miranda believes NOW is the time to give it to Connor, believing it his destiny to become a Hero. How do they take the death of Lady Asyr? Miranda takes Asyr's death seriously and fears that the world will crumble into chaos. She desperately wants Connor to step up as Vigil and ensure the world doesn't fall in the wake of her death.
