As for What the pack does now, I did state that the Gnolls inhabit the lands surrounding the cities, Gnolls usually stick to living in forests and plains and tend to avoid mountains. I can specifically state that they live in the plains if that is what is needed. 8. As said, "Paul" revealed the intention of the previous and killing them. Gnolls usually respect and respond to those who show power. Being that he killed the previous pack leader and has demonstrated his strength through the conflicts his pack endured, this made him well respected among the pack and so when he proposed his idea of the alliance, it was respected and believed that coming from Paul that it might be a good course of action.
