I made the assumption that his name was significant and something Martin might recognize. Is this the case? Don't feel you have to disclose what is the significance if you want to hold onto it.

Yeah that works out perfectly : ) I was planning that Alexi would come from a once-powerful family in Einfeld, so his is name definitely something people might recognize.

Hey Derren, I'm hoping to get a post back for you tonight but I'm not sure what to do just now besides just move them through the woods. Did you have any plot ideas you wanted to run with?
Edit: Ok so not tonight. I got caught up in an essay for school. But I am open for ideas.

At the moment moving them through the woods works for me, at least for now? Moving off the main roads into the forest opens up options for being misled, tricked or tormented by denizens of the woods, malicious or otherwise, though at the moment I'm still pondering how best that could be played with. Given they just barely escaped the ambush, maybe a little more wandering and chatting, then we bring something in as they go to set up camp/try to sleep or something around that time?
