Name: Payne StratusAge: 20Appearance: Payne is of average height, standing at 5'10. His skin is a soft brown tone, and he has a fairly athletic body. Payne's most distinct features is his crimson red hair and crimson red eyes. His hair is short, only about 2 inches long. Another distinct feature is his canine teeth, they are much sharper than a regular human's, looking animal like. Payne's usual attire is a black shirt, black cargo pants, and white shoes. His shirt is half sleeveless(left), half long sleeve(right). Sometimes he dons a black hooded cloak if he needs to stay low-profile.Personality: Payne is normally a smartass, though those that have just met them wouldn't know. When Payne first meets someone he stays reserved and quiet. Payne loves to analyze people and can usually decide if he'll like someone when first meeting him. When he's comfortable around someone he'll show his more humorous side with crude and sometimes disturbing jokes. He is naturally competitive and hates to be outdone in anything no matter how small. Payne also hates to look weak in front of others. If he fails at something, it will make him more focused and determined to not fail for a second time. Payne hates to lose but he knows when he is beat and will not hesitate to put his life over failing.Additional Information: Sometimes Payne's conscience appears before him in the form of a red coyote, with three black stripes on it's back. Payne will have full blown conversations with this figure and calls his conscience 'X'. 'X' sometimes appears to give Payne combat tips and hints, and helps guide him through difficult situations, when in reality it's his own mind conjuring these thoughts.Game World: FF XIII-2Weapon: Valley of the KingValley of the King is an ancient weapon, once wielded by the most fearsome knight in the world, or so the story says. It is a unique weapon originally seeming like a simple sword and shield. The difference between a simple SnS however is the 'shield' is able to be attached to the blade of the sword. The outside edges of the shield are just as sharp as the blade of the sword and once attached to the sword it can be swung like an axe and becomes an entirely new weapon, now requiring two hands. This also adds power and momentum to his swings but it also sacrifices defensive capabilities. Payne is very effective with this weapon and has basically mastered it. He can switch it's forms in almost the blink of an eye.Magic/Materia: Haste, Bravera, FiraSoul Summon: IfritHistory: Payne was a regular citizen of Academia. He loved to travel the world and explore ruins to find ancient items. Valley of the King was a weapon found during his explorations. As a traveler, Payne was more than comfortable with combat and he became quite proficient in it, and eventually began growing an addiction to it. He often found himself in sticky situations simply for the thrills. His family believed him to be living too dangerously, but Payne ignored anyone who tried to tell him anything else. On one fateful day, while exploring some ruins Payne came upon a Time Gate. His dangerous curiosity caused him to examine what was before him and before he knew it he had traveled forward in time to the Black Sands, 700AF. Lost and alone, Payne traveled facing dangerous situations trying to figure out what had happened to him. Eventually he learned that he had traveled forward in time with the help of an artefact he was gifted by his father years ago. As time passed, Payne began to adjust not wanting to return to his time like most would. As he continued to get into different situations, he began being recognized as somewhat of a hero though he never intended to do so.During his travels he was suddenly approached by a flooding light, eventually meeting Cosmos. After being briefed on the situation by her, he easily agreed to fight for her cause though it was mostly to fulfill his own thrills. Soon, Payne found himself attacking anyone who opposed Cosmos with little hesitation. The rush of battle has made him more eccentric than usual.
I suggest you go back and read ALL of the GM/Co-GM posts in this thread... Original Characters are NO LONGER being accepted at this time, Canon characters only, also, see the second post (MY FIRST) for a list of Canon characters that are unavailable to players.
So, I'm thinking of doing something from FFV. I just had a question about the character sheet. Do I have to pick a specific class to use, or can I assume I have access to all of them?
You may assume you have access to all, as in FFV, character class could be altered at any time, however, you must list weapons according to all your classes, or, just detail how they can be utilized in other ways. HOWEVER, I advise you read my above comment in order to avoid character rejection.
