Due to her albinism, she had been born into the world with pure white hair and skin, while her eyes are a pale blue-violet. She is rather short, standing at about 5'4, and has a curvy figure. Her hair is snow white and reaches down to her mid-back, and it is normally tied back into a low ponytail. With her round face, gentle features, and sweet smile, Anya has a unique appearance that she easily uses to her advantage. When not on stage, singing her heart out, she normally wears very regular, comfy clothes. Her body is very weak compared to others, and she is prone to illness and injury if she over exerts herself. Role(s) in Show: Singer Years Performing with Cirkus Azyl: Second Week Personality: Despite having a rather soft and sweet appearance, Anya is surprisingly fiery and rude. Though she can be rather nice to friends and family, when around strangers she is awfully bratty and rude. Her tongue is her greatest weapon, crafting thousands of insults in many languages in a matter of seconds, and though she knows she shouldn't be so mean to others she just can't help it. Despite her harshness, Anya can be kind, often giving advice to closer friends and helping anyone in need. She has a fondness towards children and animals, and is very interested in all things musical and beautiful. Her ability to lie and play a helpless, weak damsel has gotten her far through life after running away from home. She has a skill for swindling men with promised of beer and affection, for only a few coins. Of course she never follows through with her promises, and always runs before she could get caught. Her arrogant, spoiled nature can barely show through when she is in one of her acting moods. When not around people she can trick or friends she is quiet, often humming odd tunes under her breath while glancing about worriedly. Eccentricity: As shown through her extremely light skin, Anya has Albinism, which makes her sensitive to light. Because of her condition she is rarely seen without sunglasses or a hat when outdoors, and after big shows she is often stuck in bed with massive headaches and dizzy spells. Other then that, she has a very thick Russian accent, drinks way too much, is neurotic, and is surprisingly very childish despite her age. Professional and Personal Background: "A fairy, your family has been cursed by a fairy!" When Anastasia was born into the Vakhrov family, that was the first thing the nurse exclaimed. Unlike other daughters, who's skin were pink and hair dark, Anya was as pale as can be. Like some kind of strange animal, she was as white as snow and quiet, merely glancing about the room quizzically. Her parents were disgusted by her at first, always withholding her from the world to save them from ridicule, but soon rumor spread throughout their small, cold town. People began to peep into the supposed prison of a fairy child, and over and over again her father would chase them away. This continued for many years. By the time she was twelve, she was under care of a nanny. A woman who, unlike her parents, spoiled her with toys and candy and knowledge. Of course, the nanny had an interest in Anya, and by Anya she meant her voice. That beautiful singing voice which echoed through the normally empty house with the sorrow of a song bird. That voice could be worth a pretty penny. The idea of selling that voice was obviously the first thing on that nanny's mind, but before she could do anything the family was gone. Flew off to England. They had grown tired of the rumors, and decided that the cold of Russia and folklore of their disgusting daughter was too much. Anya, still kept locked within a new house, sang everyday. Sang till her heart gave out, and her parents had begun to appreciate the voice, often offering to take her out some times as payment for her constant hymns and melodies, and she decided "why not?" After so many years. And in the middle of a crowded street at the mere age of seventeen, eyes hidden by glasses and hair by a hat, she ran. Never looked back, she ran for four years, living off open mics and street corners and sex-crazed men, until she came across the Circus. And, of course, the rest is history. Professional Skills: [*]Singing: Anya's vocal range is superb, going from a high soprano to a low alto in only a few measures. [/*] [*]Language: Anya can speak Russian, French, Italian, Spanish, and English (with some difficulty). She was taught by both her nanny and whatever books she had brought to America.[/*] [*]Acting: Anya is a skilled actress thanks to her many years of reading and performing dramas and musicals within her room. This skill had obviously made her a gifted liar.[/*] Living Arrangement: Anya lives in one of the apartments within the Circus building. Her room is fitted with any pieces of art, a few wind instruments, and an array of purple items and books. Due to her past, though, she rarely hangs around inside, and can most often be found on the roof.
