Elizabeth Fontaine Beth took hold of her broom with one hand, and used the other to throw the Quaffle towards Tessa, knowing she'd be able to catch it with no problem. This practice would be extremely helpful for Beth. She had speed down, but she hadn't been able to practice passing the Quaffle around as she didn't really have anyone to practice with at home. She supposed that was a downside of being a muggle-born. Although she could have visited Jasper during break and trained with him, but she'd actually wanted to spend time with her parents. She'd helped her father with his new album, and that had been plenty fun. "Oh," Beth gasped, snapping out her musings. She shot a cheeky smile towards Tessa, thankful that she hadn't missed catching the Quaffle despite having her head in the clouds. She could think about her parents later. Now, she needed to focus on the feeling of the wind against her skin and the rush of racing with her teammate. They passed the Quaffle back and forth between them while maintaining the playful race. Jasper cut through them, laughing loudly all the while, but Beth wasn't one to be deterred. She'd maneuvered past him, punching his shoulder as she did so. "That's what you get," she shouted back with a chuckle. She turned back to Tessa. "We're almost half-way through the race, T. You ready to lose?" She stuck her tongue out at the girl before flying ahead.
