[youtube]SNZrOcXVJtA[/youtube] In all seriousness though, that is a valid criticism. Digimon World 2 did seriously annoy me with how unnecessarily complex it's digivolving system was. And you're right, it probably is why pokemon games were far more successful. It's just that the digimon games I played (which were few, cause due to lack of popularity/availability combined with Japan keeping a lot to themselves) I loved everything about other than their digivolving mechanics, the fact each game was different was a bit of a charm for me cause it meant a new experience each time. I need to start streaming the show though, I last watched digimon as a kid. And as a kid I relied on cable, so when the channels in my area canceled digimon for some court case show I was completely unable to keep up with it. :(
