[b]Demon/Human[/b] A demon returns to the mortal world to collect a soul for a contract. The mother who made the contract was supposed to fulfill the debt, but ended up being saved. Now her son must pay the price, first he has to sign his name in blood. Until then, he is stuck with the demon. [b]Personality[/b] Caym changes between being playful and serious when it involves his job. The demon can be very strict to his work but the longer he spends with a human or a partner, he usually ends up becoming soft spoken and more of a playful demon. [b]Background[/b] The demon sold his soul during the early times of 1764, when revolution for the young Americans had began to be spoken about. Unhappy with his then life, the young man found God to have left him for dead and with the scar of remembering his family being burned alive as British troops left him bloody and bruised from a beating. His father, a simple farmer, had spoken against the crown and it seemed he rubbed a certain troop the wrong way. The then fourteen-year-old gave his soul to a great demon who found his revenge and anger to be strong enough to be made into a demon. Adam lived till the age of twenty four-years-old. In his time he followed the command of his new master in his human flesh. Seducing men and women, throwing lives into dis-order and causing much grief. December 22, 1774. The Greenwich Tea Party had taken place; the young Adam had just returned home from a night of causing a family fight between a husband he had been sleeping with and a old wife. The old women had not taken kindly to find her husband sleeping with another man, one who was below their class much less, and had her son murder the man. Upon his death, Adam choose the name Caym and within the first hour of his birth as demon, he took the soul of the woman who caused his death. She, the old hag, trading her soul for the lust of a younger man. Caym enjoying as he had the man murder her within the week they were together. Caym is one of few who holds who positions as a incubus and a wish maker. He is favored by his master for the hard work he does as well as how effect he is. His hair is straight and naturally light brown, but has been dyed black. His bangs hang just above his dark blue eyes and the back is just long enough to be put into a short ponytail. He has bruises easily and has a pale complexion, causing the dark circles under his eyes to stand out. That, on top of the generally messy state of his hair, gives him an overall messy and tired look. He tends to wear dark colors, such as black, grey, navy, and red, and has a particular affinity for scarves. He's rarely seen without the amethyst point necklace given to him by his mother. [b]Personality[/b] Clarence is viewed as intimidating by a majority of the people he comes across. He's cunning, sarcastic, straight to the point, and has a fairly grim outlook on life. He stopped caring about most things somewhere during high school, stopped trying to impress his peers, stopped trying to excel academically, stopped caring whether he lived or died. He wasn't the type to seek death, but he has flirted with it quite a few times, taking unnecessary risks and throwing caution to the wind. He's a bit numb, going through the motions of life with no real sense of direction. [b]Background[/b] Clarence doesn't remember much of his childhood. His mother raised him by herself; he never did quite figure out who his father was. Her job caused her to move around often, so Clarence never had any close friends or a sense of belonging. He grew accustomed to entertaining himself, read a lot, took walks in the woods, watched television. his mother was never very interested in him until he was in his late teens. She became absorbed in religion, said she realized she had done him wrong by neglecting him and not putting his needs above hers. He forgave her, of course, but their relationship remained strained.
