The kids practically stopped in their treads as Ramiel spoke. He was right, it was irrational to just run away but Ada couldn’t help but get a small kick to her stomach after the thought of returning to her grandmother’s home. She didn’t want her family to know ever, magic was just too much in our family and wasn’t ever accepted. She didn’t know what she would do if she lost her brothers and sisters, but right now wasn’t the time to decide on what she’ll sacrifice first. Every time Adamaris looked up at the group, plenty of girls turned to give the new boy some glances. She couldn’t understand why this bothered her for some reason, she felt nothing towards Rimiel romantically but every time a girl would lift her eyes towards his she felt a twinge in her side. Her hand reached out to grab his hand but quickly pulled away in panic. ‘Okay, calm down weirdo.’ She squealed at herself. She tried to separate from him by walking a few paces faster but before she knew it they were right next to each other again. Finally the tour stopped and the students waited for the bus to arrive. Alizah and Adamaris began their small discussion on what they should do. “He’s right, we can’t just leave everything now. Plus, I have other things to take care of.” Ada shook her head agreement. “I have two brothers and three other sisters. They are all younger than me, and normal..” Alizah cocked her head to the side but her facial expression made her look offended. “Why do you keep saying that?” Ada sat up straight on the small bench they had found while the boys lingered near. Ada could always tell where Ramiel was, not in a creepy step for step way but she could turn her head in the his direction at any moment and he’d be there. Adamaris concentrated on what she could remember or what simply feels natural at the time being. “You okay?” She asked the spaced out Ada. “It’s just weird that he feels so.. familiar yet nothing about magic does. I don’t feel anything.” Before Alizah could say anything else a few girls walked up to Ada and Alizah and began to ask their absurd questions. Adamaris’s jaw dropped as the girls tried to score at a guy she had just met but at the same time, it’s not like they would have known that. “That’s Rimiel.. We’re just friends.” She slowly said as the two didn’t even listen to anything she had said. “Oh dude, he’s single! Okay thanks!” The girls mingled their way over to him to try to get their chance as the bus arrived. Chase made his way over to the group and stayed close to sit near the girls while Adamaris waited for Rimiel to join them. Alizah and Chase sat together while Ada had sat herself on the inside of Rimiel even though the girls who had tried to talk to him were in the same row on the other side. “I don’t have any other classes today, if you don’t mind. I’d like to talk some more…” Adamaris was nervous as she leaned in slightly to talk to Rimiel without the rest of the group listening in.
