As soon as he's back on the floor, the plants on the way as far as he's concerned, he lets out a long string of happy clicks and chitters in his native tongue. Watching the vampire bow he scrabbles about Joseph's feet and paws at his pant legs. Alexi watches this, the look in Joseph's eyes not missed by the human and after a moment he settles a hand on the vampire's shoulder and shifts him upright. Riley is now wrapped around one of Joseph's legs, staring up at the taller males. Looking deep into his once mentor's eyes Alexi offers a gentle smile. “I know I am asking a lot of you Joseph, and I know it is taking it's toll. Please, hold out just a little bit longer?” Pressing a kiss to the taller male's head he squeezes his shoulders before waving to Riley and heading off towards his room. Riley whines but knows better than to follow. Instead he launches back into his room and begins shredding the curtains around his bed to give them a more natural feel. Alexi chuckles at the ripping noises and prays Riley doesn't cause too much trouble for his beloved Joseph. [i]'I have lost a lot of blood recently. . .Ah well, I will be fine. I still have a full day to recover. I will be fine by then'[/i] Smiling he hums lightly, checking the hall quickly before slipping into his room. Spotting Erik reading Alexi offers him a gentle look before heading over to his wardrobe, dropping clothes as he goes. ~*~*~*~*~ A hand on his shoulder makes him look up. Sharing a look with the other officer Mois stands slowly and gives her a nod. “Shift change?” The woman simply nods, looking out over the devastation before taking his place, kneeling beside one of the many dead bodies, trying to find the right way to get it moved off the field without it falling apart. Mois looks, just as she had, out across the rubble one last time before making his way over to the company buss heading back to the precinct. The ride is short, and quiet, each person lost in their thoughts. Mois does his best to focus on what he needs to grab before heading home, deciding to skip the shower and simply bath when he gets back to the estate.
