He has a very athletic and muscular build and stands at 1.9 meters (6’2) and weighs in at 131kg (289lbs)

Benjamin comes from a fairly wealthy family. His father's profession as a doctor combined with his mother's job as an architect quickly built the Locklear wealth and when he'd come of age, Ben had a great amount of freedom when it came to his career. Throughout his childhood, Benjamin didn't see very much of his parents. To add to the lack of interaction, his parents hired private teachers to teach him personally, hoping he'd be successful in life too. This just made Ben long for social interaction more, so he requested he be put in the local football team after having watched it for the first time. During the practices, there was a group of boys that would bully him mercilessly. Ben wasn't exactly the most charming, mostly because of the fact that he'd had little to zero experience dealing with other kids. He was an easy target. After about a month into cuts and bruises, Ben quickly developed an interest into self-defense. This is when Ben began his training in martial arts with several different instructors. He'd started off trying out karate; a suggestion from his father. Eventually, Ben could hold his own, dodging the bully's punches and ultimately running away. But he'd wanted more. He wanted to fight. As his life went on, Ben continued to train different martial arts. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Krav maga, you name it. During his middle school years, Ben aspired to be an MMA fighter, like the ones on TV. However, as he grew older, he gravitated towards the militaristic side of things. His parents, although not totally invested in his life, supported him financially and appreciated that he had a goal. By the time he'd gotten his high school diploma, he was proficient in a handful of martial arts and his body had developed a stronger build throughout the years. Because of his decent grades and a some help from his rich parents, he'd been able to enroll into the U.S. Naval Academy. While there he learned "basic" mathematical knowledge and advanced knowledge in military tactics. He also befriended several mechanical engineer majors who introduced him to the idea of mechs. Of course, Ben was more than excited to be able to pilot one. He continued to train and learn at the academy and eventually graduated as a 2LT into the military. After a few years of fighting and a handful of tours, he was promoted to 1LT. He'd showed physical and mental prowess on the field of battle, consistently showing success in his missions. As a 1LT not much had changed besides what people called him. Ben just did as he was told to the best of his ability. Soon after his promotion, he was offered to pilot his own mech. Needless to say, Benjamin was ecstatic. However, he realized he didn't like it as much as he though he would. It just seemed unnatural to him - especially after his training in martial arts, it seemed a waste to have to pilot a mech. From then on, he decided he'd do as much as he could on the ground where he belonged. It wasn't too long after another promotion came around - this one awarded for his leadership abilities during particularly stressful missions. After a few months, he was called up to one of the higher-up's office. He'd been reassigned to the Hard Knocks regiment. The suit was designed fulfill a covert ops purpose, with an activated cloaking system blurred by movement. Captain Locks specifically requested that his particular suit sacrifice some protection for full range of movement and speed. The suit also enhances his leg strength, allowing him to jump further and run faster. The modifications were tailored to his exact measurements to ensure full range of movement and sacrificing the bear minimum of protection. The suit will protect against small arms, but will barely provide resistance to more powerful ballistics. Kinetic damage will also be absorbed by the suit while heavy kinetic damage will cause the suit to spread the impact throughout the suit, softening the blow.
