Just as Caleb complimented Nomis on his speech to the people of Hollow Bastion, his uncle would acknowledge it. Nomis would then ask about the task that he had given Caleb. The teen shrugged slightly. [b]“It went as you predicted, Uncle. Ryoko roared as she only could and stormed off.”[/b] Caleb said expressing his annoyance at Ryoko. [b]“I don’t see why The Emperor keeps her around. Her anger problems are on no level that I ever have known anyone to have.” [/b]Caleb was just thinking out loud at this point.

By the time that Caleb had finished, Nomis would once more speak to Caleb, but this time about how The Unbound Hearts were, as he so rightly put it, giving themselves more rope to hang themselves in a metaphorical suicide. Caleb would just smile as he agreed with Nomis. He didn’t say anything as Caleb felt that he didn’t need to. Plus, that was when Nomis would once again speak to the crowd gathered below. He would state that the flying heartless were not the ones that they should fear, but rather it was the Unbound Hearts that they should. He further would say that the people of Hollow Bastion should go to their homes and let the Empire protect them.

Once he finished, Nomis would motion Caleb to follow him onto the vehicle. Caleb would silently follow his uncle into it and the door would close and the vehicle would move as the maid from before drove it. Caleb sat in the vehicle thinking about how foolish the attempts of the Unbound Hearts were. It truly was something that made Caleb laugh, which eventually he did, but only lightly. No doubt that Nomis heard his slight laugh.
