Alec stood up with one hand covering his wound trying to prevent blood loss, but it didn't matter much. He was lost in the middle of nowhere. He sighs letting out a small cloud of is breath. "I guess there's no use asking where I am." Alec muttered looking around. All he could see was trees surrounding him covered in snow, no trails, no markers, nothing distinguishing one tree from the other. "If I walk in one direction long enough, I might find something..." He thought to himself and began his long trek. As he walked, blood slowly dropped to the ground marking his path... How long has it been? Minutes? Hours? No one knows, not even Alec. Nothing has changed in this monotonous trek. With each step Alec felt weaker and fainter, vision becoming blurry, body feeling numb. Finally he collapsed, and with his face to the ground, he can see a drop of blood ahead of him and in front of that another drop, and another. He lifted his head weakly to see the trail of blood he left behind and the same trail ahead of him. "I've been walking in circles the whole time." Maybe its because of blood loss causing his mind to slowly slip into delusion, but Alec couldn't help but chuckle at his miserable self. "This must be a joke." Alec muttered his mind slipping into unconsciousness. "Is this my end?" He thought. "Is this what death feels like?... Will I... finally see... Eva...?" With his dear wife being the lost thought on his mind, Alec shuts his eyes and faints. Will he survive? Will someone save him?....
