I read and reread the post and unless we go full cheesy about Verwoerd and Shepperd 'Overhearing' and deciding to come in, I seriously don't think we can regroup right now.

I had a plan on Verwoerd recontacting Van Ryneveld (Maybe make him a recurrent character?) and asking him about who he took his contract with to get a link to a small time but ambitious officer from one side or another (Maybe the other side you guys will work for?) and then receive a small hitman contract, drive to a small village or checkpoint and kill one man and his family to send a message. That we we get our first few diamonds as well as some diamonds and the beginning of a reputation.
