The creature shoved ogre back, hard enough to lift him off his feet and make him land on his back about 15 feet away. The one he was fighting was decidedly male, with the nameplate still reading Jonson, but stained with blood and other strange fluids. Its inverted legs allowed it to spring at ogre once again with very little delay. If he didn't react fast enough, the creature would be right on top of him.

Aaron's quick reaction with his shooting caught the female in the leg, causing it to collapse when she next put weight on it. The wound, however, closed almost immediately and seemed to absorb the ion beam's energy... In fact, the beam somehow made the creature emit an energy very similar to the ion signature. It got to both legs again and began to walk towards the Hissho, ignoring the others in the elevator. Its hips swayed and its face morphed itself into a smirk with her tongue running over her top lip, giving an impression reminiscent of a woman sauntering toward a man she liked. It was an image out of place in this combat zone.
