Look at the average Elven attitude:

1. They're a bunch of hippies.
2. They're stuck-up, aristocratic snobs.
3. They have some sort of God-race complex.
4. They're more racist than Dwarves, who at least have some rightness to their xenophobia.
5. They really, REALLY hate ugly things.

And at the average Goblin attitude:

1. They're a bunch of barbarians.
2. They're a bunch of snarky, moralless, jerks.
3. They're pretty honest about their assholery.
4. They hate all races equally.
5. They are really, REALLY ugly things.
